This template simplifies interwiki linking to Wikipedia. The first parameter is the page title. An optional id parameter can be used to add an identifier to the page link (but not the link text), an optional l parameter can be used to change the destination Wikipedia language, and an optional second parameter can be used to change the link text.
It should not be used in subheadings since that breaks section links in the edit summary; use the following format instead: [[wikipedia:Page title|Display text]]
