<< Directory of levels >> |
In the Remix 10 mode of Super Mario Run, the first course of a round may be replaced by an Original Course indicated with an icon of a Bonus Medal sticking out of a cloud. In it, the player can use Super Stars and Trampolines to collect a large number of coins in the shape of a item or character. There are five Bonus Medals in the formation.
This course appears when the prior round of Remix 10 ended while the player's coin counter had double digits. (ex. 11, 22, 33, ...) Once activated, this course will disappear after 15 minutes have passed. The shape of the coins is not predetermined; loading this course multiple times can change what the shape is.
When a round is started, there is a rare chance that the icon for this course absorbs light. In such a case, every coin in the course is replaced by a Bonus Medal. This results in an extremely large number of Bonus Medals. In such instances, the sequence where Mario exits the course is modified. Instead of showing a slot for every Bonus Medal and filling in the collected ones, the game shows a counter and quickly counts up to the number of Bonus Medals collected. If the player did not collect every Bonus Medal in this scenario, the game still counts this as having collected every Bonus Medal for this course.
Layout[edit]
Mario runs across a row of Cloud Blocks. Two ? Blocks are side by side: both contain Super Stars. Then the coin and Bonus Medal formation appears. Underneath it is a row of six Trampolines over Hard Blocks, which can be used to reach the highest part of the image and collect the items. This is followed by more Cloud Blocks, and the Goal Pole.
