Talk:Garlic
Why in the world is the picture a real world clove of garlic? shouldent it be one that appears in a wario game?!?Isyou 23:47, 10 February 2007 (EST)
- I was wondering about that pic, too... It's in the game screenshots category, which made me think: Is it from some kinda goofy WarioWare game? If it isn't, we should get a garlic pic from an actual Wario game. --YellowYoshi398 23:53, 10 February 2007 (EST)
nope. It is real. I have all warioWare games exept smooth moves. (just for the 9-Volt games) and that pic was there before Smooth Moves was out. Max2
Can you specify exactly what WarioWare game it was in?Knife (talk) 20:28, 23 February 2007 (EST)
I said it WASN'T. I said I have PLAYED THEM ALL, and Smooth moves hadn't beeen released when this picture was put. It is REAL garlic. Max2
Wario Land 3[edit]
When i didn't know about that and saw the power up's icon for the first time, i thought it was a pillow or something, but now i'm quite certain this power-up in WL3 is Garlic as well. Blooper 15:01, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
Virtual Boy Wario Land[edit]
It's called a "Garlic Bottle" in VB Wario Land, should we set up a redirect to here and add it or just make a new page for it? (Also, I have no idea how to redirect pages... of if I even can... so someone else might have to handle that). --•Turkishcoffee «Talk» 06:56, 17 April 2010 (EDT)
- New page. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- Okay then. I'll get on that tomorrow. (Unless someone else wants to take the initiative.) --•Turkishcoffee «Talk» 10:16, 17 April 2010 (EDT)
Coverage[edit]
Garlic has a strong connection with Wario in the extended Mario franchise; the first game in this franchise to contain garlic as a usable item (or, possibly, at all) even kickstarted this connection. Over time, I've used this as a basis for covering every instance of garlic appearing in a Wario-related context, including less gameplay-relevant instances, such as Wario eating garlic in a Battle League cutscene, or the windows in Ninja Hideaway being in the shape of garlic. However, I realise this kind of bid is borderline "generic subject" territory, if it's not already fully within it. In this respect, I ask: should garlic only be covered if it has a gameplay function, or are more generic instances acceptable if they have an association with Wario? -- KOOPA CON CARNE 10:01, October 4, 2022 (EDT)
