The Nettai Pakkun Flower is a special Big Piranha Plant that appeared in Super Mario-kun Volume 13. It is a big Piranha Plant that grows in humid places and get its strength and size right by getting nutrient from the water in the air and ground.

While escaping the Mecha Kuribō thought a desert, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi cross path with Iggy Koopa. Tired of being ignored by them, Iggy creates a rainforest jungle around them and then summons a Nettai Pakkun Flower to defeat them. The creature immediately zaps the heroes with magic, turning Luigi and Yoshi into sunflowers and Mario into a nose. Thanks to Yoshi eating his new form, Mario returns to normal, but gets tossed around by the Piranha Plants the Nettai Pakkun Flower summoned, then it bites his hand. Swelled by the bite, Mario's hands grows so much he manages to uproot every plant nearby by executing a Hand Slap, but the Nettai Pakkun Flower just starts dancing on its roots, unbothered. Iggy explains that until it remains in contact with the wet soil, it cannot be beaten. Thanks to a vine, Mario climbs above the clouds and jumps down holding the Angry Sun drying the place in an instant, and also resulting in the Nettai Pakkun Flower shrinking due to being thirsty. With its defeat, Luigi and Yoshi returns to normal.
