Super Mario Encyclopedia

Do they have any mention in the encyclopedia? I speculate, but they are possibly called Fusen Kuribo. And since the english encyclopedia takes the name from the wiki (only fitting name idea though), should we rename it to it Japanese name?

@FanOfYoshi they probably used passed instead of red because the winning option was the one that the creator of the proposer, Time Turner voted for. Also, you would need to launch a counter-proposal if you wanted part of the book to be cited. Doomhiker (talk) 12: 43 24 December (EST)

Because of the nature of the proposal, there was no oppose option, it could only pass one way or another. I wouldn't recommend starting another proposal on the Encyclopedia, unless you want to shake up the wiki again. It likely wouldn't change anything anyway, given the amount of evidence there is for the plagiarism.

Now that my proposal on the pipe Lakitu has passed, let's delve on this: This split really makes no sense. It's about as comparable as the Dragoneel situation, now that we have evidence that these Goombas are not separate species. If you're gonna argue with "Para-Kuri" or "Para-Bomb" from SMW, these were given clear distinctions. These Goombas are listed along normal Goombas in Encyclopédia (and IIRC, Mario Portal)

(Granted, this comparison would probably make more sense if there were more balloon enemies than just Goombas, but y'know...)

Camwoodstock mentioning the parachutes also makes me think why we don't have an article on the Parachute yet. The Mario Maker 2 icons for the Parachute are currently awkwardly merged to the Parabomb gallery, and Parachute currently is a disambiguation page that doesn't even list the course element, even though Wings has a separate article. And Parachutes also appear in games outside of Mario Maker as well.
Another reason what makes me think this is because we don't have articles on the dandelion pappi from Super Mario Bros. Wonder, nor any enemies that use these as parachutes, so I foolishly thought things like Dandelion Goomba were already merged to things like Parachute Goomba, when articles like those doesn't exist either. rend (talk) (edits) 17:57, December 19, 2023 (EST)

I mean, if Wings got an article, why not Parachute?
