Microsoft is an American software and hardware company based in the United States, whose software products have a long history between them and Nintendo's Super Mario franchise, in regards to Mario games released on MS-DOS and Windows 95, the long-lasting effects of when Microsoft bought Rare Ltd. from Nintendo as part of entering the home console market with the Xbox, and the two companies competing in the home console market since 2001.
MS-DOS
- (Supposedly mostly known as IBM-PC due to its hardware, instead of MS-DOS due to its OS, at the time of Donkey Kong 1 and for almost a decade afterwards?)
Donkey Kong (game)
- (Check Donkey Kong (game)#Atari, Inc. for some bits of info.)
1990's
- (Mario is Missing through Mario's FUNdamentals; Windows 95 info where applicable.)
- (Where would info about Category:MS-DOS game covers and Category:Windows games go? I'll also skip the French SWF games because they'd be simply put ridiculous.)
- (Change the redirect of MS-DOS to this page once it's good enough for mainspace.)
Bill Gates
Rare Ltd.
(Also: what happened to Donkey Kong 64 and/or DK Rap)
Diddy Kong Racing DS
- (See if there's any other cases where Microsoft allowed Rare free choice in portable consoles; I could've sworn there were one or two on GBA.)
Banjo & Kazooie
