I don't think this should become an actual page. Microsoft has never been officially involved with the Super Mario franchise, MS-DOS isn't even its own page, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is not a Super Mario game and was only about Microsoft allowing Banjo and Kazooie's inclusion, and the part about them being console competitors with Nintendo is not intrinsically related to Super Mario. They produced MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows, sure, but millions of other companies have released software for it, and many did it without any license from Microsoft. We don't have Atari 2600 page nor any page for Atari themselves, which could be possibly considered more historically significant to Super Mario, due to the Atari ports of the first few Super Mario games. The closest to any form of relevance that Microsoft has ever had is its acquisition of Rare, but that was to retain the respective properties of Rare. This page is attempting to string together connections where there aren't any. Super Mario RPG (talk) 19:51, May 24, 2024 (EDT)
