Wario Land: Shake It! (Japan: Wario Land Shake, PAL regions: Wario Land: The Shake Dimension) is an upcoming game for the Wii. As of now, little is known about the game, except that it is a platformer game, like the previous Wario Land games, and it is analogous to them like New Super Mario Bros. is to Super Mario Bros.. The game also features the return of Captain Syrup, although her role is currently unknown. It is also known that the game will have 20 levels and animations drawn by hand and that the Wii Remote will be used to make special movements (such as shaking enemies to get coins, find secret places, and more)[1]. It is the first game in the Wario Land series to be released since Wario Land 4 in 2001. This makes the longest gap of time a Wario Land game has ever gone without being released.

Plot

Within an Ancient Globe (an old, giant globe exhibited at a museum), there is another world called the Shake Dimension. The Shake Dimension’s peace is shattered by the marauding pirate Shake King. Queen Merelda and her Merelda Subjects are imprisoned. Not only that, Shake King claims the legendary treasure “the Bottomless Coin Sack,” which spits out coins whenever it is shaken. Captain Maple Syrup, the female pirate, observes the Shake Dimension’s crisis from the outside world. Setting her eyes on the legendary treasure but with no desire of doing the dirty work herself, she steals the Ancient Globe and sends it to Wario. True to form, Wario prepares to raid the beleaguered kingdom when a Merelda Subject escapes to the outside world in hopes of finding help. When Wario hears of the legendary treasure, he wants to save the kingdom from the evil Shake King (but he mainly goes to the Shake Dimension to get the Bottemless Coin Sack). He can only return to his world with help of the Merelda Subjects. Will Wario save the kingdom and get the legendary treasure?

The game is played with the wii remote held sideways.

Levels

There are five continents with five levels four regular levels and one boss level. After beating the boss you must buy a map of another continent from Captain Syrup. You can go in any order of continents depending on how much money you have.
