Super Mario 64 DS is the boss microgame of 9-Volt's stage in WarioWare: Move It! It is based on the Nintendo DS game of same name. Unlike the original game, Kevin Afghani provides Mario and Luigi's voice in this microgame, replacing the original work done by Charles Martinet.
Gameplay
The player controls Mario in one of Super Mario 64 DS's slide levels, being able to control his direction by tilting to either side while in the "Scales" form. The goal is to reach the end of the course, where a Power Star descends to Mario and he collects it. There are coins along the way, but they do not affect gameplay in any way. The game ends in a loss if Mario falls off the course.
- Level 1: The course is The Princess's Secret Slide. The goal room is inside the screen of a giant Game Boy Advance.
- Level 2: The course is the slide in Slip Slidin' Away. The shortcut behind the ice wall is accessible like in the original game, although it has been altered to take the player to the slide's last turn. The entrance to the goal room is framed by two giant Wii Motion Plus Inside Wii Remotes.
- Level 3: The course is the slide in Mysterious Mountainside. The goal room is inside the bottom screen of a giant Nintendo DS.
In multiplayer, the first player controls Mario, while the second player controls Luigi. The player that reaches the goal first will receive a Power Star while the player that reaches the goal second will receive a Silver Star.
