Hello readers of The 'Shroom, and welcome to Spotlight. Spotlight is a community project which aims to fix up the articles on the wiki which have issues. These issues can range from poor writing, to a lack of images, to even just needing a credible source.
Waluigi Time here again! The Super Mario Bros. Movie is out in theaters, which means... well for us it means we have a lot of work to do. None of our focuses this month are directly related to the movie per se, but if you've seen it, maybe you could help with our coverage of that too!
All of last month's focuses got completed this time around! Somethingone (talk) apparently had a field day, creating Super Golf Stadium, expanding Blargg's Boiler and Lakitu's Cloud, getting images for Lip Sync with additional help by TheRaoul1992 (talk), and finding a source for 3DS Piranha Plant Slide. We also have a much nicer version of File:NSMBU Sumo Bro Screenshot.png, sourced from New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe by MisterMarioYT (talk). Excellent work, everyone!

| Jakks has been creating Nintendo merchandise for almost a decade now, but their article is very short. With a new wave of merchandise for The Super Mario Bros. Movie out on store shelves, it's a good time to get some work done here. | ||
| The only suspicious thing here is that all of their appearances throughout Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games have been crammed into a single paragraph! Breaking it up into something more readable shouldn't be too difficult of a task. | ||
| If you're brave enough to enter the Koopa King's domain to pursue photography, some of the Checkpoint Flag locations don't have any images. Also, some of the images that are already here don't show the Checkpoint Flags at all, so consider grabbing some better shots of those as well. | ||
| This image of Cat Mario is currently just an edited screenshot from Super Mario 3D World. Getting a proper render of his model would be purrfection. | ||
| The article claims that the mine shaft levels of this world are used for mining gems and minerals by the Kremling Krew, but was this ever stated in official materials, or is it just fan speculation? |
Now just before I leave you, I'd like to tell you about unimplemented proposals. There are currently thirty-eight that need to be implemented, dating as far back as 2018, so think of this as a continuous Spotlight goal until they're all completed. Additionally, there are many unresolved discussions that we would love to see come to some sort of conclusion. Some might have already concluded and just need the template removed, others have been waiting for a response for years.
