Template:Item-infobox Falling blocks[1] are slab-like obstacles that appear in Super Mario Land. They are tiles that appear identical to the surrounding landscape of a level, but they fall when Mario comes close to them, in a similar fashion to the falling spike obstacles. They only appear in World 1-3 and World 4-1 and cannot be defeated by any means.
