Uploads
Hello, ReYporolsa. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: or Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Hello! Thank you for your recent uploads. Just so you know, when uploading images, please remember to always include a category relating to the game it comes from (for example,
). Also, each file should include a license, which can be included using a drop-down menu when the file is being uploaded.--TheFlameChomp (talk) 15:04, 11 November 2018 (EST)
Revising files
When replacing an image with a better one, if it has the same extension, it's best to go to the original file and select the "upload a new version of this file" option and not upload a separate file, so as to preserve file history and not have to change links, as is the case with the Jean de Fillet image you uploaded. Wild Ptooie Piranha
Ummm... I think this is an unofficial recolor. Are you sure this is an official artwork? -- FanOfYoshi 07:47, 30 December 2018 (EST)
I found it here [[1]
- This site contains both official artworks, and unofficial recolors, though. -- FanOfYoshi 07:50, 30 December 2018 (EST)
Whoops... I didn't notice "There are also a lot of things that I have made with my fingers. (Please note that some though I think it worked well)". Sorry
TTYD sprites
Hey there, I'm sorry for reverting your image earlier, but how do you piece the TTYD together? My process is taking a screenshot, resizing it so it fits over the ripped sprite, and overlaying the sprites on top of it to match as closely as possible. Is that something you do too? Yep. Just Paint and any site that can remove white backround. Mr Yporolsa 14:56, March 23, 2019 (MSK)
Dark Block
For the Dark Block image, did you increase the emulator's resolution to obtain that? If you did, that's against policy (with the exception of data-rendered models), as these images are intended to accurately reflect how they would appear in the game's native resolution. yep. Sorry for that. Mr Yporolsa (talk) 23:16, April 10, 2019 (MSK)
