Crate and Peril
Template:Minigame-infobox Crate and Peril is a 1-vs-3 minigame in Mario Party 6. It reappears in Mario Party: The Top 100. Its name is a pun on the retail store Crate and Barrel.
Introduction
The introduction shows the one player chasing the three player into a room, then sucking them into the box he or she is holding. Then the minigame starts.
Gameplay
The whole point of the game for the one player is to shake a box around with the three players in it. The way to get one of the three players out, is for the one player to tilt the box in a certain way so the Spiny Shells ram into them. The three players must survive for 30 seconds for them to win.
Ending
If the team wins, any players who are still standing perform their victory animations from within the box. If the solo player wins, he or she stands on the stage and performs his or her victory animation. In The Top 100, the animations are instead performed on the results screen.
