Edits
Hello! Right now I want to edit, but I don't find any page that needs editing! There's a Category of pages needing edits? Thank you. LED42™ (talk – edits) 11:18, 30 August 2017 (EDT)
- A good place where you can find some pages that need editing is through links found on MarioWiki:Maintenance. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 11:22, 30 August 2017 (EDT)
Thank you again :) LED42™ (talk – edits) 11:26, 30 August 2017 (EDT)
Request
Hey! I know that I'm very new in the wiki, but I think you're cool! So, would you like to be my friend? Add this code if you accept! (Without the spaces). { {userboxp|border=#FF0000|mainbkgd=#FF5555|codebkgd=#FF0000|codecolor=#000000|code=[ [File:StarMK8.png|thumb|50px] ]|msg=This user is friend of [ [User:LED42|LED42] ] ([ [User talk:LED42|talk] ]).} } LED42™ (talk – edits) 19:02, 30 August 2017 (EDT)

Personal Sandbox
Hello, man! Can I create a Sandbox for me? Does it disagree with the rules? Thanks. LED42™ (talk – edits) 18:59, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
- Yes, you can have a sandbox (for example, here's mine: User:TheFlameChomp/Sandbox) It must be a subpage of your userpage, similarly to your signature page. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 19:05, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
I asked the same thing to Alex95 because you've logged out. :P Thank you anyway. LED42™ (talk – edits) 19:11, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
Wha-wha-what!? Your user page says that you've joined to the wiki on January, 2017. And it says that you started editing on September, 2016! A mistake or what? :s LED42™ (talk – edits) 19:30, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
- I created an account in January, though I made my first edit anonymously on November 3rd, 2016. I edited anonymously a lot before I created an account. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 19:41, 1 September 2017 (EDT)
Page split
Hi! The page Stronghold Showdown says that it was suggested to split into two pages, can I do that? LED42™ (talk – edits) 21:36, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
- Changes like that are usually brought up on the talk page of the article before they are done. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 21:44, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
There are no discussions on that page... :/ LED42™ (talk – edits) 21:47, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
- You could probabaly start one (I think that template is usually used when there is a discussion about the split) --TheFlameChomp (talk) 21:50, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
So, I'll just start it soon, thank you. LED42™ (talk – edits) 21:54, 2 September 2017 (EDT)
About Skuchi037
Now that the user is blocked, shouldn't all of the votes from this user on proposals be removed? The proposal rules say that banned users votes should be removed once they are blocked. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 17:50, 3 September 2017 (EDT)
- Was actually editting the proposal page now to remove them. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 17:51, 3 September 2017 (EDT)
Pardon me (and I really don't want to make a habit of these questions), but may I ask why Skuchi was blocked? He hadn't even received a warning after returning from his block. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:52, 3 September 2017 (EDT)
- We (the admins) discussed it. Also, if a user continues the action they were blocked for the first time, another warning is unnecessary. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 17:53, 3 September 2017 (EDT)
- Fair enough. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:54, 3 September 2017 (EDT)
Reverts
Hey, how many vandals were today! I'm asking you, because I've seen you and other users reverting edits, so, I want to help more if no patrollers nor admins are online, so how do I revert edits? Thank you :)
Oh, by the way, congratulations! LED42™ (talk – edits) 10:33, 4 September 2017 (EDT)
- You can revert edits by going into the page history and pressing "undo". --TheFlameChomp (talk) 10:35, 4 September 2017 (EDT)
Can you delete the info of the vandal that I reverted on the Blizzard Midbus page. Yoshi the SSM (talk) 10:48, 4 September 2017 (EDT)
- Ok. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 10:53, 4 September 2017 (EDT)

Straw
If you don't mind me asking, what's the difference between the Lava Bud and the Straw? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:10, 12 September 2017 (EDT)
- Unlike Lava Buds, the Straw doesn't act like a separate enemy and cannot attack. While other objects that heal a boss's HP (for example, Donut) have their own page, they are separate from the boss while the Straw appears to be a part of Durmite. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 17:20, 12 September 2017 (EDT)
If you don't mind, since I haven't played Paper Jam myself, could you tell me the difference between the Shiny enemies and the regular Paper enemies? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 13:05, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- The differences I can think of are their rarity, and their different stats, item drops, and appearance. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 13:08, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- Are they dissimilar to the Limbo Bros or the Chuck Guys? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 13:09, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- I feel the shiny enemies are treated more like the same enemy, just tougher, similarly to Shiny Pokémon, as they basically replace the normal enemy on the rare occasion they appear in battle, while the Limbo Bros. and Chuck Guys are more like R enemies from Dream Team and Shiny enemies from Sticker Star, which are more like later game enemies that are stronger that are fought completely separate from the originals. Also, I most likely won't get back to you right away at the minute if you ask me more questions, as I am currently in class at school.--TheFlameChomp (talk) 13:21, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- They sound similar to the Gold Beanies and Amazy Dayzees, then. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 15:54, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- That sounds like a good comparison, apart from the fact that they have different names from the enemy they replace. I'm honestly not opposed to option three of the proposal, I just plan to continue to vote for option one. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:27, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- To me, it seems silly to not give them individual articles solely because their name is the same when everything about them is different and subjects that are quite similar to them already have individual articles. Perhaps you could vote for option three alongside option one? Hello, I'm Time Turner. 16:34, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- I might, though I'm not exactly sure what would happen to the pages such as Shiny Goomba that cover Sticker Star and Paper Jam if that option were to pass. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:41, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- I want to say that I'm fine with them staying in the same article - the Shiny Goombas and others like them share their glittery appearance between games as well as their role of being stronger variants of other enemies - but then there's Shiny Bob-omb, which apparently has two variants in Paper Jam, and I disagree with lumping both of them into the same article since they have different stats within the same game... or maybe it'd be better to keep them in the same article since they still share their appearance? I'm still totally for splitting the shiny enemies from the not-shiny enemies, for all the reasons I outlined before, but I'm not certain what to do when there are multiple shiny variants of the same enemy. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:03, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- I feel that the enemies that have different stats but the same appearance in the game should stay together, as splitting every one could make navigation very difficult (Fly Guys have four different variants in the game, and so do Paper Boos if you count the ones that assist King Boo in battle). --TheFlameChomp (talk) 17:16, 15 September 2017 (EDT)
- I can agree with that, so long as they do have the same appearance. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 17:43, 15 September 2017 (EDT)

Template?
Hello! Is there a template for "Who's online"? I didn't find it in the Notice template category, nor the Navigation template category... LED42™ (talk – edits) 12:19, 14 September 2017 (EDT)
- There isn't a specific template, but you can transclude the special page by adding
{{special:whosonline}}
to your user page.--TheFlameChomp (talk) 12:23, 14 September 2017 (EDT)
Blooper Glitch
Hello! I think that I've found a glitch in New Super Mario Bros., in World 3-3. You can try it, because I can't upload an image right now. Enter the area with the Star Coin and the lot of Bloopers and Blooper Nannies, try to get a Super Star, and then swim to a nearby Blooper Nanny. You'll probably see it flashing in rainbow colors like if it were under the effects of a Super Star. I'm pretty sure that it's a glitch, but I'm asking you because I am not completely sure. Thank you. LED42™ (talk – edits) 21:29, 17 September 2017 (EDT)
- I think that the Blooper Nannies are supposed to flash like that, as they seem to do it even if you don't have a star. The flashing is mentioned on the Blooper Nanny page, and it also states that they glowed before launching the Blooper Babies in Super Mario Bros. 3, so I think it's an intentional feature that was just not brought back in any other game. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 21:57, 17 September 2017 (EDT)
Proposal
Yoshi the SSM (talk) has since left a comment aimed towards you after MrConcreteDonkey's vote here. (T|C) 21:05, 18 September 2017 (EDT)
- Actually, after thinking about it, I'm going to revert my vote. I am very familiar with Paper Jam, and it is true that it is required to complete most of the missions in order to complete the game and give rewards such as the final Trio Attack, unlike challenges from New Super Mario Bros. U, which we cover on separate articles even though they aren't required to beat the game and give no rewards except for medals. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 21:53, 18 September 2017 (EDT)
In reply
I'd just say a general elaboration on his personality, what he does, and possibly a page quote for him. I have the game myself, but at that point I've already done most of the stuff for the Mad Skillathon, so I can't really get many of the quotes. ~Camwood777 (talk) 05:03, 21 September 2017 (EDT)
Protect the Secret Aquarium page!
Many IP addresses keep vandalizing the page and if not protected soon, the Recent Changes section is going to get cluttered with this kind of stuff! – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 16:54, 21 September 2017 (EDT)
- Alex and I are trying to contact an admin that can protect that page. We can't, since we're only patrollers. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:56, 21 September 2017 (EDT)
- Oh, OK. – Owencrazyboy9 (talk) 16:57, 21 September 2017 (EDT)
I'm back!
Hey, it's me again, your old friend! How are you doing? I asked Alex95 why you blocked me, and I got my answer. But how you doing, my boy? It's good to see you again. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 19:23, 4 October 2017 (EDT)
- Hi, I'm doing well! I'm currently on a trip visiting family, though I found some free time to check in on the wiki. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 19:25, 4 October 2017 (EDT)
Hammerhead Bros
Oh, his name was Sledge? Dang, I completely forgot that one. Thanks for reminding me. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 16:28, 8 October 2017 (EDT)
- No problem! I actually forgot until I checked the page while adding the link. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 16:29, 8 October 2017 (EDT)
Man, we are ROLLING today, aren't we, my boy? I just love doing this project. Hopefully it will give me some breathing room when it comes to my last warnings and all. I am REALLY gonna need it. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 18:28, 8 October 2017 (EDT)
- The project seems to be going well so far! --TheFlameChomp (talk) 18:31, 8 October 2017 (EDT)
How does it look?
Hello! I'm currently working on creating missing SMB3 level pages, I started today. I want some opinions so, how does it look right now? Thank you. LED42™ (talk – edits) 13:41, 12 October 2017 (EDT)
- Looks good so far, though it should also have an enemy list and and a level statistics section (which includes the number of power-ups, 1-Ups, and secret areas) like the other Super Mario Bros. 3 level articles. The introduction also usually which level unlocks it, and what level becomes unlocked upon completion. Also, I believe Lord Bowser (talk) planned on creating those, so you may want to ask him if he still plans on creating them before creating it yourself. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 14:00, 12 October 2017 (EDT)
Captain Boo
WOW! Thanks, man! I had no idea they had published official artwork for Captain Boo, since the game is so young. Do they have artwork for all the captains? They better. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 23:12, 12 October 2017 (EDT)
- Yes, they actually existed awhile before the game came out. They can be found on Gallery:Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, under "Artwork". --TheFlameChomp (talk) 23:17, 12 October 2017 (EDT)
Goomba's Shoe doubt
Hi! I have finished the World 5-3 page, but I'm not very sure if "Goomba's Shoe" is how the enemy is called, or it is the item. Any ideas? LED42™ (talk – edits) 11:23, 13 October 2017 (EDT)
- According to the Goomba's Shoe page, it is referring to the item, with the enemies being referred to as "Shoe Goombas" (which is a redirect to the page). --TheFlameChomp (talk) 11:26, 13 October 2017 (EDT)
Re: Sponsor pages
Oops, sorry about that, I forgot about the extra redirects to the pages! I remembered to redirect the old pages but not the redirects to the old pages. Sorry about that, there are only a couple left to go now, and I think the only extra redirect is Coconut Café (With an accent). I'll definitely make sure that one gets fixed. Sorry about that! BBQ Turtle (talk) 10:15, 14 October 2017 (EDT)
Voting in Proposals
Wait a minute, so we can't simply say "Per all" and leave it at that, or is that still allowed? Lcrossmk8 (talk) 17:47, 15 October 2017 (EDT)
- The rules say that "per" votes are allowed. Here is the whole rule: "Every vote should have a strong, sensible reason accompanying it. Agreeing with a previously mentioned reason given by another user is accepted (including "per" votes), but tangential comments, heavy sarcasm, and other misleading or irrelevant quips are just as invalid as providing no reason at all."--TheFlameChomp (talk) 17:49, 15 October 2017 (EDT)
Okay, thanks for that. I just got confused, is all. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 17:50, 15 October 2017 (EDT)
About Tjakyes (or whatever the heck his name is) and what I'm THINKING is Bobbywall03
Okay, what in the everloving heck are we going to do about this guy? He's constantly and consistently vandalizing the Super Paper Mario pre-release content article by continuously making the same accounts with the same name. Jeez, what the heck do vandals like THIS want to do with the wiki? It's grating on my nerves as much as the debacle with that one guy who keeps trying to hack that stupid piece of trivia onto the Super Mario Sunshine article does. Speaking of which, what the heck does the latter guy want to do? I just don't like his toddlerish attitude on the wiki. What do we do with the Super Mario Sunshine article? I think you should have some ideas, if not answers. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 20:33, 16 October 2017 (EDT)
- Right now, we are just banning Tjkayes whenever he appears. Also, we've banned Bobbywall's IP and range, so he shouldn't be a problem for now. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 20:39, 16 October 2017 (EDT)
That's all cool with me. I hope you know, you're doing a great job as a patroller. Keep up the work. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 20:41, 16 October 2017 (EDT)
Contributions
How do you know how many contributions and edits you have made on the wiki? Is there any place on the wiki that will tell you how many contributions you have made? I want to know because I want to know how many contributions I have made to the wiki. If you have any good answers, then please share them. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 22:02, 27 October 2017 (EDT)
- You can find them on Special:Editcount and your preferences (though both seem to be different numbers for me strangely). --TheFlameChomp (talk) 22:04, 27 October 2017 (EDT)
All right, thanks a lot for the help, man! I currently have either 1,398 edits or 1,412 edits, so I have about 1400 edits if you average it out, which is just great for me. Lcrossmk8 (talk) 22:10, 27 October 2017 (EDT)

Proposal rules
Pardon me, but there are a couple of passed proposals of mine regarding rules that haven't been implemented yet. Specifically, doubling the amount of time a proposer has to edit their talk page proposals (from three days to six) and removing rule 4 of the talk page proposals. Since they both involve a protected page, I can't do anything about them myself. Would it be possible for you to make the necessary changes? For the first proposal, rule 14 can be edited so that it says "Proposals can only be rewritten or deleted by their proposer within the first three days of their creation (six days for talk page proposals). Thank you for your time! Hello, I'm Time Turner. 12:39, 17 November 2017 (EST)
- I apologize, but you are going to have to ask someone with administrator rank. Patrollers can't edit fully protected pages. --TheFlameChomp (talk) 12:40, 17 November 2017 (EST)
- Ah, pardon. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 12:43, 17 November 2017 (EST)
Your Edit Count
I went to Special:Editcount and saw that you have made over 15,000 edits! Very impressive for a user that's been around for less than a year--you even have more edits than Porplemontage (13,000 edits)! I myself have only made about 250 edits, so I just wanted to say congratulations! By the way, can we be friends? My userbox is on my user page. -YFJ (talk · edits) 00:31, 18 November 2017 (EST)

Hey
How is the Lord of Lightning called the ruined dragon? He doesn't seem to be called that in any part of gameplay. Only his battle OST name seems to prove that.
