Golden Passage
Map of the level

Golden Passage is the last level before the final boss, the Golden Diva in the Game Boy Advance game, Wario Land 4. It is found in the Golden Pyramid. This level is very different and is made far more challenging than the others, because at the beginning, Wario is forced to land on the switch upon entering the level (like Palm Tree Paradise in S-Hard Mode; it is placed towards the end on every other level, except Hall of Hieroglyphs and Palm Tree Paradise in S-Hard Mode). The switch limits the time that the player can spend in the level. So in this case, with the switch being at the beginning of the level, the player must obtain the Keyzer, along with all four Jewel Pieces within a strict time limit in order to progress to the next level. Like Hall of Hieroglyphs, there is no CD to collect in this level.

The actual soundtrack of Golden Passage exists, but it cannot be heard because the usual fast-paced switch music will play throughout the whole level instead. However, the unused soundtrack can only be heard by avoiding the switch, which cannot be done during normal gameplay; only by using an Action Replay or another hacking device. The unused soundtrack can be heard in the Media section below. Also, it can only be proved when using an hacking device that there are actually invisible, block sized walls on both sides of the switch, hence why it is impossible to avoid the switch during normal gameplay. The walls disappear once the switch is pressed.

Time given in different modes

The time given to escape the level after hitting the switch varies between game modes.
