Hello![edit]

You're from Canada and B.C to? Awesome! I live in Abbotsford, a small town near Vancouver. Nice to see another Canadian user! -User:O O

  • Yes, I live in B.C., although I live in Armstrong, which is in southeast B.C. (the town you live in, Abbotsford, is in southwest B.C.). Abbotsford is at least bigger than where I live: Armstrong's population is about 4,800, compared to your town, which has some 100,000 people (I think). Have you been anywhere else in Canada? (In B.C. or in other provinces), outside of Canada, or outside of North America? I'd be glad to know (no, I'm not going to harm you because I want to know this). ilovededede, 11:33, 2 March 2013 (PST)

Just wondering[edit]

I saw on your userpage you think there should be categories based on where users live. If you think that why don't you propose it? Yoshi876 (talk)

Bowser X help (this message is from user who owns this talk page)[edit]

So... I've reached the Rainbow Rank for both Mario & Luigi and gotten the Excellent!! Badge and I've managed to defeat all 6 original X bosses and now I have to defeat class 7. I can easily defeat all 6 bosses in one marathon but can't beat Bowser X. I've reached him before but I usually die on his Goomba attack, mostly because I've taken damage in earlier bosses (mainly from Dark Star X), plus I only get about 10-12 turns left when I do reach him. Is there any assistance on how to dodge his Goomba attack probably and how to avoid the other attacks. Plus is there anyone who defeated Bowser X under the recommended level? I'm currently at Level 40 and the recommended rank is 50+. I know the best way to rank up fast is to fight the Airway enemies but albeit it still takes some time. What do I do? And how do I defeat Bowser X under the recommended level? If anyone who knows how to defeat Bowser X and is reading this message, PLEASE HELP!!! ilovededede (talk), the user owning this talk page.

    • Never mind, I managed to defeat the boss at Level 46. It was hard, but worth it. ilovededede (talk)

Aboutfile[edit]

Hello, Ilovededede. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly use the {{aboutfile}} template. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below.

{{aboutfile
|1=Subject of the image
|2=Where you found the image
|3=Artist
|4=Describe edits, if any
|5=Other versions (use file link)
}}

Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Help[edit]

I am trying to make webpages for the remaining minigames of Mario Party: Island Tour that need one. If you see this message, could anyone help me? Thanks. Ilovededede (talk)

Yoshi Egg Cup[edit]

In the CTGP Revolution section, see the Yoshi Egg Cup? Maybe you should link that to The Legend of Zelda DLC pack in Mario Kart 8. Thanks. 78.143.168.59

3DS Retro Tracks and Complete Non-Mario Kart Utterness[edit]

Again, in the CTGP Revolution section, tracks such as 'Rock Rock Ridge' or 'SM64 Whomp's Fortress' are utterly retro tracks. Can you link them to their original versions? 78.143.168.59

Faults[edit]

Once again, in the CTGP Revolution section, there's an article for Egg Cup and you forgot to link Rainbow Road: Solar Edition! 78.143.168.59 04:23, 9 November 2014 (EST)

CTGP v1.03.1000 update[edit]

Ilovededede, please can you update the 'CTGP Revolution' update because v1.03.1000 was released before the author did a live stream! 78.143.168.59 15:01, 24 May 2015 (EST)

M&L Paper Jam boss stats[edit]

Hello, I see you added the boss stats to the Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam page. That would be all well and good... except you took the information from estimates in a GameFaqs guide. The author of the faq was not happy about that:

Oh ho. So then you'd know why someone totally lifted the boss stats out of my M&L Paper Jam FAQ and put it on MarioWiki, without credit of course. Luckily they took outdated estimated values I had in the guide before someone else sent me a data dump and I updated my guide with more exact values, but if this is the sort of behavior that goes on in these Wiki sites, that is not cool.

Oh, and before someone tries the "you don't own factual information" argument, in M&L Paper Jam the enemy stats are not visible. Initially I had estimated HP amounts in my guide based on my own experiences, and that's exactly what appeared on the Wiki. Kinda obvious when they even copy the format I wrote the bosses names next to each value in battles against multiple characters, and miraculously come to the exact same estimates as I did. >_>

In the future, if you're going to add information that's not accessible in normal gameplay, please be sure to cite your sources for the sake of intellectual honesty and to avoid situations like these. --Glowsquid (talk) 07:39, 6 March 2016 (EST)

  • I gave an apology on the forum to hopefully clear things up. Sorry if I caused any trouble, I wasn't aware at the time I had to cite sources but from now on if I take information off a GameFAQs guide I'll cite the source and give credit. --Ilovededede (talk) 16:10, 9 March 2016 (EST)
