Where are the item distributions for VS races when items are set on Shells?

I don't see it anywhere on the "With Specific Items" section, I just see the other three (Mushrooms, Bananas, Bob-ombs). Gold Luigi (talk) 18:32, 27 January 2017 (EST)

I just rechecked the folder of the game given me and it is absent. All the other files are there (and you can see that Battle Mode has shells-only distributions), but shells-only in races is missing. Can you check if it is selectable in VS races?--Mister Wu (talk) 22:43, 27 January 2017 (EST)
Well, I just did yesterday night, and yes, VS Races do have a Shells Only option, both Local play and Online communities. But checking the item distributions really isn't for me. What I also want to know is, how did you even play MK7? I've seen in a thread in MKB that you don't even have plans to buy a 3DS, or even a 2DS. Gold Luigi (talk) 06:32, 28 January 2017 (EST)
ALSO! I want to remove some distributions, like the ones for the online matches (they're literally the exact same as those from Local Play and Single Player), the names below the items (except for Test3 and Test4) and replace the rank1-8 with the actual rankings. Gold Luigi (talk) 14:25, 28 January 2017 (EST)
This would be inappropriate in many ways. The names are the ones found in the game's files, as both rows and columns headers, and thus come directly from the development team, removing them is inappropriate, in Mario Kart 8 those headers are simply absent, this is why I didn't include them in the first place. Removing the distributions just because they are the same is not appropriate as well for a Wiki that must document things as they are. The developers created separate files with different names but having the same distributions in them, we must just accept that and report what the developers did.--Mister Wu (talk) 15:10, 28 January 2017 (EST)
Ah, shame. I even forgot to tell you if I should replace the in-game percentage with the percentage everybody knows (e.g. 200 -> 100%) but since I can't, that's fine. I understand this for everything, except for the online distributions, since they are the exact same as the Local Play and Single Player distributions for both human players and CPU players. I typically maintain the native format of the data if it is clear enough, so we can immediately see, for example, that Mario Kart 8 reuses the same probability tables with the same scheme (sum of row to 200 and same order of the items). Regarding the choice of distributions, it is important to report all of them. We do report all the stats of the characters and parts in Mario Kart 8, even though many of them are redundant. If you really want, I can recheck the content and condense the tables with the same content in one table changing the title, if the use is similar enough (e.g. VS races and Battle Mode).--Mister Wu (talk) 17:31, 28 January 2017 (EST)
