This page needs protecting

Like, seriously. The same IPs keep vandalising it, so we need it that only registered users can edit. For the sanity of the actual users. Crash-Bash (talk) 09:31, 5 June 2015 (EDT)

I will say this again...this page seriously needs protecting. Crash-Bash (talk) 15:30, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
I'll put up a protect request and see how that goes. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:38, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
Wait, I don't think that even exists any more. We have to wait until the officially-deemed janitors sysops come and do the job for us. I'll ask one in the meantime. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:40, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
Okay, so it's protected. Hope you got what you wanted! :) Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:44, 5 June 2015 (EDT)

More characters confirmed

On the Rio 2016 official blog, http://www.rio2016.com/blog/en/ there are screenshots including the stadium, showing the flags.

It seems that Vector, Metal Sonic and Mii (if you look closely) are confirmed. UPDATE: Other screenshots including this are removed from the blog page, probably a leak. Infinite8 10:12, 5 June 2015 (EDT)

The Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U treatment?

Just as we split Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U into separate articles, but with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U intact, would it be a good idea to create articles on Mario & Sonic games of both versions as well? Because searching and linking these games are such a pain in the ass. Take this quip: "He later appeared in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, classified as a speed character as well. His swim style is the Doggy Paddle and for his special move in Dream Fencing, he attacks the other player with his tongue which can result in knocking them off the stage." It's referring to the event in general, but is it really a good idea to link the game in question to a disambiguation page? Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. Follow the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS example. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C) 21:36, 5 October 2015 (EDT)
Agreed: the plain names should be articles, not disambig pages, for both linking/navigation purposes, and for being a more welcoming sight when someone Googles these titles and give us a shot. - Walkazo 14:09, 13 November 2015 (EST)
