I haven't played many Chinese Mario games, so I'm not familiar with official traslations. But it does seem to me that the official Simplified Chinese translations are sometimes awkward, inaccurate, uncool, and done by people who seldom play video games. some questions

Hi Hippopo, long time no see! Some Japanese names such as ゴツゴツ山 has only one kanji, and in such cases it's hard for me to determine the reading of the kanji (on-reading vs kun-reading). This is especially difficult for games with no furigana in the dialogue boxes. Do you have suggestions on how to deal with such cases when doing a romanization for the wiki?

Also do you know how many groups of people are doing Chinese translations for Nintendo? I only know shényóu (iQue). A gossip-loving Toad (talk) 01:05, 10 April 2016 (EDT)
