Nasty Garlic is an uprooted and brown Garlic with a sour face that appears in WarioWare: Touched!. When Wario feels sick, he goes to the fridge and tries to get some garlic to cure his sickness. Though he accidentally grabs a Nasty Garlic, he eats it anyway. The Nasty Garlic causes Wario's immune system to attack the germs (where the player can tap the germs and get the garlic to eat them) which then causes Wario to turn into Wario-Man.

Once Wario-Man's story is completed, the player can drag the Nasty Garlic to Wario and turn into Wario-Man in the main menu to play his microgames. Wario can return back to normal by feeding him a Wario Bomb.

Trivia

  • According to Palutena's Guidance from the Japanese version of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Wario actually consumed a mandrake (a plant that, according to legend, shrieks when is dug up a kills anyone that hears it) mistaking it for a garlic.[1] This would explain why the Nasty Garlic has a face and a peculiar body-shaped root.
