Why do we need this article again? Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 01:02, 8 July 2014 (EDT)

Because it's like Whispy Woods and the Great Deku tree? I think not. - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 02:34, 8 July 2014 (EDT)
Maybe a delete? We don't have those random gingerbread cookies from MK8. Do we? - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 03:00, 8 July 2014 (EDT)
Mainly because they're just spectators. This, however, has an official name, doesn't break any policy by being here, is the main obstacle of its respective course, and is as relevant to the series as articles like Bouncing Notes, or Roller. It doesn't hurt the wiki to have this article so I don't see a reason for deletion. Yoshi876 (talk)
Sounds fair enough. - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 16:31, 8 July 2014 (EDT)
.....the name isn't official. It comes directly from a file called "move_tree" or something. I'd merge this page with its respective course article simply because that would mean EVERY obstacle in Mario Kart should warrant an article. Do the roller coasters from Baby Park, destroyable blocks from Vanilla Lake and Ghost Valley, Pinballs from Waluigi Pinball, etc get their own articles? These are similar to moving walls, they do EVEN LESS than the bouncing notes. It's not even the main obstacle of the course: I think the mud and grass have more of an obstacle than them. Bouncing Notes and Roller don't need their own articles either when having info on the respective course article will suffice. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 18:35, 19 July 2014 (EDT)

It's a bit like Gray Bowser Statue. It's not a minor character, but I'm pretty sure the more coverage the better. - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 23:42, 19 July 2014 (EDT)

Gray Bowser Statue at least has continuity (aka reoccurring enough times to have its own page). This obstacle is likely to be one-off. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 16:31, 22 July 2014 (EDT)
It's appeared in two games. At least it's more relevant than Mario's Star or something like that. - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 17:09, 22 July 2014 (EDT)
two games, eh? did you forget the second it appeared in is simply a remake of the first? please keep the context in mind BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C) 17:12, 22 July 2014 (EDT)
It still counts an appearance. It should be list in MK7's Category and etc.. But if this were to get deleted, there's a lot of other articles like this that should get deleted. You wouldn't delete an article because it's only had one appearance. And it's not necessarily a remake, people without MKDS could still mistakingly say that it's from MK7. - Ninelevendo's Sig Image 17:23, 22 July 2014 (EDT)
I will not delete an article just because it has only one appearance, and I have not stated that it should be deleted because it appears only once. My beef is that it's a insignificant stage hazard without an actual name. Stuff like King Bulbin and Lord Bullbo are merged to Bridge of Eldin not because they are Link characters, but they are minor stage hazards that fits perfectly fine with their associated article. Hazards like Banzai Bill, ? Block, and Skewer get their own page because they have made continuous appearances ever since their debut, unlike Moving Tree, which is confined to DS Luigi's Mansion. And just because we have articles on Bouncing Note and Roller doesn't make Moving Tree or these articles any more useful. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS.
