A Goomerang Bro. is a somewhat odd mixture of a Goomba and Boomerang Bro. that briefly appeared in the Nintendo Adventure Book "Monster Mix-up".
A Goomerang Bro. is described by Mario as having the body of a Boomerang Bro. and the legs of a Goomba; due to its disproportionately tiny legs, a Goomerang Bro. is mentioned as being almost incapable of walking, forced to comically waddle to move. Goomerang Bros. were probably created by Bowser and his Monster Mixer.

- The Goomerang Bro.'s name is likely a corruption of "Goomba" and "Boomerang Bro."
