bowser's Inside Story

Hi! I've been playing Bowser's Inside story on my 4ish 100% playthrough and I've did everything including beating Bowser X (several times) and killing the final boss no damage (easily), then I found out about the 99 block coin which I haven't seen strangly in all my playthroughs. HOLY S*** IS THAT HAAAARD!!!!!! How is that even humanly possible?? Have you done that yet? I have about 10000 coins though. So is it a good thing I failed? Should I wait until I have 50000 coins? Yeah, he was a sock. I blocked his IP because I don't believe those are all his friends' accounts, as they seem to be using the same computer and they act the same. But "MitchellFarted" isn't really an unnecessary username, although it is strange. Fawfulfury65

Animated GIFs

Have you ever wondered how they are made? How do you do it? HOW!? Well, I know how to make them, and I can show it to you. You can also get an image editing program for free on the internet. That really helps with the image editing, sprite cropping, and the mysterious transparency images have (you know, the one with the checkerboards).

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but whatever. It'll help. GIMP is a free, image editing program on the Internet. Don't be suspicious of viruses, I downloaded this myself. Have you ever heard of Photoshop? Well, GIMP is just like that, just with a little less options.

If you downloaded it, you can help me with the transparent sprites in the DKC articles. Transparency just makes things look better; if you use a monobook, for instance, without transparency, you see that ugly white box around tables and stuff. With transparency, you cannot. Paint cannot achieve transparency.

Since you called Paint crummy, I recommend you use GIMP. Please trust me on this. I need your help. Without it...I have some tedious work to do.

One more thing. You know that personal image of yours of me and Wario? May I please edit it to make Baby Luigi look like me and to add transparency? Please? It's your personal image, I need your permission.

Don't download images. Instead, copy and paste them into a Paint file and you can edit from there. It's faster that way, and I do it all the time. Stupid people and their malware. I hate them. You should ensure total security of your computer: get the latest updates (Service Pack 3), get anti-virus software, and get a firewall.

Save your files to the D drive, Q drive, or whatever drive that does not have your computer installed on. If you must wipe your memory, you'll do it on the drive where your computer is installed on. Dang, this off-subject. Sorry.

Sucks you cannot download GIMP. It's an awesome program and there are no viruses in the file. You can really help me with this thing. Are you using Windows XP Service Pack 3? If you are, great. You can download and nothing will attack your computer.

Another word of advice: save just one file for uploading wiki purposes. Then, when you successfully uploaded that sprite, alter that file, delete that sprite, and add a new one, while modifying the size. This helps save your data as it will take up less space. Simply modifying images rather than creating new ones is less stressful for your computer.

Yes, enabling automatic updates to your computer will help save you from virus attacks, due to viruses infecting a certain edition of your Windows. You can check what Service Pack you're using by clicking on Start -> Right Click My Computer -> Properties. Of course, you are never completely safe from viruses from even enabling firewall, having the latest virus protection, or enabling automatic updates; you still got to use common sense.

Like I told you before, you can still upload images to this wiki. You don't have to download them. Just right click on the sprite sheet, copy the sheet, paste it into a Paint document, and do whatever you want with it. Crop a sprite out, make a new file, size it to an appropriate size, color background white, save it. When you're done, modify that image, remove the old sprite, add a new one, and save the file again without even creating a new file.

It's weird to see say a computer is being attacked by malware. Usually, my computer behaves erratically and it restarts RIGHT when I am about to log in my computer (though that could be a matrix batch file that can be doing this).

Here's a tip for you: do not EVER download music files, images, or media that have .exe as a file extension. Programs are fine (certain ones anyway), but media that have .exe as an extension most likely have a virus in it. You probably never encounter this, but this is for future's sake.

Again, download all files into whatever drive your computer is not installed in (perhaps the C drive?), so in case you have to wipe your memory, you still have all your files saved into your separate drive.

Do you know how to operate it? Anti-virus software usually checks websites for viruses and they'll notify you if they think it's fine or not. I use McAfee and it's an anti-virus software. Don't worry about needing to manually check it, the software does it for you. That said, not all "anti-virus" software you see online are authentic, there might be a virus inside these hoaxes.

I'm glad to hear that it works to copy and paste. I do it all the time. But it still stinks that you cannot install GIMP.

Wario Country series

I am currently recreating the article, Donkey Kong Country (series) and I seriously need your help. I never played those games (though I should :P), so my lack of knowledge is a major downside when editing this article. I do know what games to add (but I'm not too sure about the Donkey Kong Lands), but I don't know what are the main differences of the game. Sure, reading the article regarding, say, Donkey Kong Country GBA, helps, but I think it would be better if you do it because you know more about the subject 10 million times more than I do.

I don't know what enemies are common. I don't know what items are common. I don't know what deserves to get added in the article. It's terrible for someone like me who has never played the Donkey Kong games to create articles like these to qualify as a great article. Same thing about adding what information to the article :(

This also applies to the Donkey Kong (series) article. I know NOTHING about those games.

Plus, I'm not going to be too busy on the Mario Wiki on those stupid school days. I have a 2 hour restriction on going online.

I would also like to feature this article (the Donkey Kong Country series article, I mean). It's not going to be nominated yet, but it could use a lot of work and straightening things up and we can make it featured!

I understand. School is such a waste of time that we all have busy schedules. I also have plans, too, to complete the Donkey Kong Country article and feature it. Not sure about DKCR, since I probably won't be getting the game (plus, I'm banned from my Wii, so it sucks).

I do appreciate your attempt on making the article better, however. You don't have to focus on it now, since I'm doing it. But help is greatly appreciated.
