- Asterix & Obelix XXL 2: Mission Las Vegum (A certain Roman looks like Mario, only much more skinny. He also come with his own version of FLUDD. When attacking, he will very faintly shout "Yahoo!" in a Mario-esque voice. Upon beating him, he will shout "Mama mia!" The Roman also moves in a similar way to the way Mario moves in Super Mario Sunshine. In later stages, the Roman will even resort to trying to jump up high and butt-stomping you.)
- Banjo-Tooie (A toilet in Grunty Industries, Inc. needs a plumber, Kazookie suggests Mario)
- Big Brain Academy (One of the Syllable Count sentences is the famous Toad qoute "Thank you, Mario, but our princess is in another castle")

- Donkey Konga 2 (A save image/badge used in saving scores.)
- F-1 Race (Mario waves the checkered flag when you win a race.)
- Jill of the Jungle (A "News Bulletin" announces Mario, at age 72, is giving up superhero status becuase of Jill's "incredible" popularity. "We are not cool enough. We just did not stand a chance." states the newflash. It also says that he will return to his old job, cleaning gorilla cages at the local zoo. Unfortunatly for Jill, becuase of her incredibly inpopularity she was retired after only three games.)
- Kirby Super Star (one of Kirby's transformations when he's using his STONE ability is a statue of Mario. Mario, Toad, Luigi and Birdo are also in the audience of the Megaton Punch Contest along with several 1-up mushrooms, also a picture of Mario appears at the end of Milky Way Wishes. In Kirby's battle against King Dedede in Spring Breeze Mario and Peach are in the audience.)
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (A picture in several village houses.)
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (A Mario mask is on the back on the Happy Mask Salesman's backpack, but you can't wear it)
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Pictures of Mario, Yoshi and Bowser in a window of Hyrule Castle. Malon and Ingo look similar to Mario and Luigi. Malon and Talon both wear Mario medallions.)
- Maniac Mansion (When you turn on a "video game," some music is played, and you hear the first five notes of the famous Super Mario Bros. theme.)
- Megaman Network Battle 3 (Mario's clothes appear in Mayl's room)
- Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (Mario and Yoshi dolls in Otacon's Lab)
- Mike Tyson's Punchout! (Mario is the referee)
- Mother 1 & 2' (Mother 1: Donkey Kong machines appear in the arcade in Onett, Mother 2: The sixth set of defualt names comes from the Mario series)
- NBA Street V3 (Mario, Luigi and Peach are all playable characters)
- Nintendogs (Mario and Luigi's hats appear as wearables for the dogs, as well as RC Mario, Peach, and Bowser Kart toys)
- Pikmin 2 (A picture of Bowser is on a box of matches, also the main character of the game, Captain Olimar is based off Mario since Olimar is basically "Mario" backwards with an "L".)
- Pinball (Mario appears in a bonus stage.)
- Pokemon (On the tv in the copycats room there's a show with Mario with a bucket on his head.)

- Stunt Race FX (Mario and Luigi appear on billboards)
- Super Play Action Football (On the coin that is tossed before the game, Mario's head is the Head side and his raccoon tail is the Tail side)
- Super Punch Out (Mario, DK, and DK Jr. (all in their original forms) appear in crowd.)
- Super Scope 6 (Mario flys one of the planes once a certain amount of progress is made.)
- Taiko no Tatsujin 8 (The Super Mario Bros. theme is one of the playable songs.)
- Tennis (Mario appears as the referee)
- Tetris NES (Mario and Luigi are seen dancing when you complete Stage 9 Level 5 in Type B mode. Samus, Pit, Donkey Kong and Link can also be seen dancing after the rocket ship takes off.)
- Tetris DS (When you play Standard Mode, Mario plays the original Super Mario Bros.)
- The Legend of Stafy 3 (Wario appears many times to help out Stafy and, additionaly, get his mitts on some treasure. Stafy controls many versions of Wario, including Fiery Wario and Puffy Wario.)
- Uniracers (One of the tracks is named "Wario Paint", an obvious ripoff of Mario Paint.)
- Viewtiful Joe (Joe whistles the theme to Super Mario Bros.: B-Dasher.)
