Mermaid Sparkla is a Sparkla Theet in Princess Peach: Showtime! She is initially trapped in the basement of the Sparkle Theater by Grape. After clearing Blight of the Sea, Princess Peach and Stella have the opportunity to rescue the Mermaid Sparkla in the stage The Dark Depths & the Swirling Currents.
In the aforementioned stage, the Mermaid Sparkla is trapped in a large clam, and so Mermaid Peach must command three sets of small fish to open it, freeing the Sparkla. The two then swim through debris as they make their escape. Giant whirlpools block the exit however, and so Peach and the Sparkla must sing to dispel them, allowing for the exit to become accessible. After escaping, the Mermaid Sparkla can then be found on the fifth floor of Sparkle Theater, levitating over the floor, where other Theets admire her.
Before the final battle against Grape, all of the Sparklas, including the Mermaid Sparkla give Princess Peach Sparkla Spirit to allow her to transform into Radiant Peach. All of the Sparklas are then seen in the ending where they celebrate with everyone.
