Here is a playlist of Japanese Toadstool Tour gameplay. One video shows the name「ウッキィ」(Ukkī), which is just the name for a regular Ukiki. Would this be the equivalent of Akiki? Does anyone know if the English version also lists Ukiki? LinkTheLefty (talk) 17:02, September 26, 2022 (EDT)

Okay. Flipping through the playlist, I just haven't been able to find a Japanese equivalent for Akiki. There are several names in the leaderboard that don't seem to correspond to existing Mario characters and are presumably dev-jokes (diacritics are fuzzy and may not be accurate, suggested basis in parenthesis): ヨツバのカトー, シューゴ (Shugo Takahashi), ひろゆきん (Hiroyuki Takahashi?), まさもん, ぬま, マロン (Zelda Malon?), なべっこ, サトビ (Masanori Sato?), ゆたぽん (Yutaka Yamamoto?), ふくださん (Mike Fukuda), まな, レスリー (Leslie Swan), トール (Toru Takamatsu?), キムカゲ (Akihito Kimura?), フーミン (Fumihide Aoki?), ミッチー, うのきょう, ムロラン, あかたら, あちゃ, デビッド, ビルきち (Bill Trinen?), さっちん, しずか, ぽぽみ, レイレイ (Reiko Ninomiya?), おおうめ, ハギー, まにのふ, しゅうじさん (Shuji Shimizu), のりすみ (Norisumi Osawa), しぎそう (Shigeo Matsuzawa?), しげちー, まさと (Masato Kawamura), クラーヤ (Motoi Sakuraba?), ツボイケ, うのっしー, and probably more. I'm starting to think "Akiki" might be along these lines, possibly Akiko Sato, since there does seem to be more names like this in the Japanese version compared to the English version.
