Battleship Halberd Interior is a Subspace Emissary stage in the game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, after The Canyon and preceding Battleship Halberd Exterior. It is played by Lucario, Meta Knight, and Solid Snake. The first part of the stage is mostly linear and only features Snake as playable. After finding Meta Knight and Lucario, Snake and his new allies will encounter a maze-like area requiring the fighters to hit switches to progress. The next section features a darkened room featuring switches that temporarily brighten the room. The final section requires the fighters to get past a thick gate by defeating enemies. At the end of the stage, the three find Peach and Zelda, locked in cages as their trophy forms. The Shadow Bugs copy Peach's and Zelda's forms, and the fighters must battle False Peach and Zelda as the boss fight of the stage. Once the clones are defeated, the princesses are freed and Snake tells them to remain there while the rest of the team explore further.
