Well, well, if it isnt the little rascels!

Yoshi's Story is the sequel to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

Bowser has turned Yoshi's Island into a picture book, and six baby Yoshi's must venture through 6 "pages" of the island before they can confront him. All the levels are made of some kind of material ( clay, jeans, cardboard, newspaper, ect. ) and have their own distinct style. The enemies range from Shy Guys to bizarre creatures a kid would think up. The puzzles are fairly simple, and the obstacles can be fun if not difficult. All the levels songs are versions of the main theme, just remixed to fit the atmosphere.
If you can get over the preschool themes of the game it's recommended if you have a Nintendo 64.

Although not very popular because of it's childish design, the game was used in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Beta Version

Oranges and Blue Fruit

Like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario, many beta version screenshots were released for Yoshi's Story. Many changes were done before the final version. Originally, there were more fruits than just Apples, Bananas, Grapes, Melons, and Watermelons; there were Oranges and some other blue fruit!

Also, there were many odd changes. Stage 4-2: Jungle River was eerie, with many giant bubbles, and even a Bone Dragon! The Bone Dragons themselves weren't bony, but purple with scales. These are just some of the many differences.

Official Artwork & Screenshots

Strangely enough, at the time of popularity there were many screenshots of the beta version and TONS of official artwork of almost every enemy in the game! Yet, upon loss of popularity, the artwork and screenshots have all but vanished. As such, it is very rare to come across the artwork for Yoshi's Story. Sadly, the remaining artwork is of poor quality, unlike during popularity. A list of the vanished enemy artwork includes:
