Baby Park is a popular Mario Kart racecourse that appeared in two Mario Kart games, Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart DS. It is widely regarded as one of the best courses in all Mario Kart games, mostly because of its simplicity. The course is a huge oval that's so small multiple laps are needed to finish; 7 in Double Dash!! and 5 in Mario Kart DS.

Most players use it as a battle arena by letting loose a lot of items. Since it's so small, the track is often littered with shells, banana peels, and other items in the later laps. One half is blue and the other is pink. It has various pictures of characters from the Yoshi Series on it, including Baby Mario and Baby Luigi, of which the stage belongs to, however neither appear in the DS version. Goomboss is raced against Toad during mission mode in Mario Kart DS. In Double Dash!! it is in the Mushroom Cup and Mario Kart DS it is in the Banana Cup in the retro grand prix.

Cameos

Several characters that are important to the Yoshi series appear to have their own rides around Baby Park. They are listed below.

  • Baby Bowser appears on a ship, with a sign reading "Baby Bowser's Ship".
  • Kamek appears above a sign reading "Kamek's Magic Show".
  • A Pink Yoshi Train appears to ride around on an orange track, as if it were a roller coaster. It is seen in various parts of the Park, and sometimes it can appear above it. If it does do this, it may actually hit drivers' Karts from above.
  • A large Poochie appears far in the background. There is no known sign, so it is unknown what the ride does.
  • A Yoshi Copter can be seen at the background so far.
