• Luigi's Mansion (pictured) was re-released for the Nintendo 3DS on October 12, 2018 in North America.
• Super Mario Party was released worldwide on October 5, 2018.
• During the Nintendo Direct on September 13, 2018, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe was announced, and will be released on January 11, 2019. Luigi's Mansion 3 was also announced, and will release in 2019. The upcoming Yoshi game for the Nintendo Switch was named Yoshi's Crafted World and will release in spring 2019. Additionally, Nintendo announced new information on Super Mario Party, the Luigi's Mansion remake for 3DS, and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey; the latter will launch on January 11, 2019. Mario Tennis Aces will be updated on September 19, with a new online co-op mode and new characters. Isabelle was also revealed to be a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
• During the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct on August 8, 2018, Simon Belmont, Richter Belmont, Chrom, Dark Samus, and King K. Rool were announced as playable fighters. Additionally, the Metro Kingdom stage has been named "New Donk City Hall".
