Talk:Peach's Castle
Move Please
I believe this page should be moved to "Mushroom Castle," because Super Paper Mario makes it clear that that is the name. Princess Peach's Castle is simply saying that the castle belongs to Peach. Why else would we label "Mario's House" as "Mario's Pad?" Any objections? Klaus Kratchet
Sounds Good to me.... - Ultimatetoad
No leave. This is the more common name.Nintendofan146 20:28, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
Let's see... so if I have this right, it's been called Princess Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario. It's been called Mushroom Castle in Super Mario RPG and Super Paper Mario. I'm going to check out Super Princess Peach, but currently it's pretty much either/or. Stumpers! 23:42, 13 May 2008 (EDT)
I'd go with the current name. YL Peach's Castle is the most recent name, so we should move it to that. Main Picture
Is it just me, or is it against the importance policy to have a Super Smash Bros. picture as the main picture when there's other ones available? I mean, I'm kinda biased against the SSB series, so maybe that's why I'm saying this... CrystalYoshi 17:36, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
- I was meaning to get to that. Since, per a proposal, we now have separate articles for all Smash Bros. courses, that picture is no longer applicable to this article, regardless of one's opinion of the series. I'd suggest replacing it with a picture from Super Mario Galaxy. Stumpers! 12:37, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
- How about this? [1] Stumpers! 12:41, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
- I don't know, in that one you can't see the castle itself very clearly, and plus there's a lot of distracting stuff around it. Is there anywhere where a picture of it from Super Mario 64 (DS) might be found? CrystalYoshi 11:08, 7 June 2008 (EDT):::
- Well, there is one from Super Mario 64. I'll replace the main picture with it. If anyone disagrees, they an change it. CrystalYoshi 10:42, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

Comic and Television Info
I'm trying to figure out all the times the castle has appeared. We'll have to go through the Nintendo Comics System with a fine tooth comb, that's a given, but what about the rest? I remember that it appeared in Super Mario Adventures and "Tag Team Trouble." I think it also appeared in, "Recycled Koopa," but I'm not sure how the castle looked from the outside on that show, so someone else would need to confirm that. Anyway, if anyone else remembers where it appeared, let me know! Stumpers! 19:53, 16 November 2008 (EST)
- Just caught the a line where it said the castle's garden was the princess's, so that means it did appear in that episode, and with a very good picture, too! Stumpers! 19:56, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Images
The Main image and the Super Mario 64 section image; Where are they from? For the Main Image, the sky never looks pink in Super Mario 64, and the second pic looks edited. The sun is shining from the wrong angle(shadows are where they aren't suppose to be), and the trees are not the trees in the original game. --Garlic Man (talk)
- The second image has been taken care of. As for the first, we'll need to find a replacement first. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- In Mario Kart 64, when the trophy is given out, the sky is pink. Maybe this image is from Mario Kart 64? It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 15:19, 8 April 2010 (EDT)
- Yeah, I checked. It is. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Problem!!
Why is the Mario Kart series between the Super Mario Series and the Paper Mario Series?? MarioKart66! (talk)
- How is this a problem? --Garlic Man (talk)
- I don't see any problem. YL
Mario Golf
We need some information about its appearance in the N64 game Mario Golf. We know it's one of the two Mini-Golf courses besides Luigi's Garden. --PrincessDaisyFanatic3883 18:00, January 29th, 2011 (UTC)
Split Peach's Castle and Peach's Castle Garden
Template:SettledTPP SPLIT 9-0
Back-to-back TTP's, I know, right?
Now, just take a look at the article and scroll down the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Now tell me that it isn't the biggest section of the page of the entire article.
My point is, Much of that - if not half - is dealing with the exterior of the Peach's Castle, known as Peach's Castle Gardens. It is stated in the game, in the guidebook, as well as among other articles on this wiki. There is more than enough informatin to split, as well as a boss that was fought there!
It seems only fit that if they are separate of each other, they should not be together in the first place. Even if this fails, there should be a sub-header about the garden within that section.

Split
- Baby Mario Bloops (talk) - Per my proposal.
- Mario & Luigi (talk) Per Baby Mario Bloops
- Bop1996 (talk) Per proposal.
- New Super Yoshi (talk) I count the garden as a different location since it has it's own map and different music to inside. Per BMB.
- Toad85 (talk) The garden is a seperate location. It is an insult to the location's integrity to have it merged with another location, simply because they are both within the fences of Peach's Castle.
- Bowser's luma (talk) Per Toad85.
- Mario4Ever (talk) Per all.
- RandomYoshi (talk) Per Toad85.
- Walkazo (talk) - Per all.

Mario Sports Mix castle
... is NOT Peach's Castle. First, you see Peach's Castle in the game, but it is in the background of Peach's court, and looks the same as usual. The castle you see in the Mushroom Cup is definitely not Peach's Castle - I could try and say it's based on its Super Mario RPG design, but that's a major stretch anyway. I propose we get rid of the part referring to it as Peach's Castle. On another note, shouldn't we add a pic of Peach's Castle for every main series game that has it ? New Super Mario Bros. and its direct sequel for instance. Or does the page's looks matter more ? Koopalmier 19:45, 12 July 2012 (EDT)
Palace
Shouldn't this article be called "Princess Peach's Palace"? After all, Peach lives in a palace, not a castle. There is a ballroom and luxurious bedrooms inside.
And I'm curious about the castle in Mario Sports Mix. What is it? Should it have it's own article?--Alicatgirl (talk) 23:42, 17 March 2013 (EDT)
- Princess Peach's Castle should remain as "Princess Peach's Castle" because it is officially stated multiple times it is a castle. The castle in Mario Sports Mix is Peach's castle as well because it is also officially stated to be a castle. It also has it is own article here. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 23:50, 17 March 2013 (EDT)
I still say it should be renamed. The palace does not have battlements or ramparts like a castle. And I wouldn't call the body of water a "moat". --Alicatgirl (talk) 13:13, 18 March 2013 (EDT)
Music
I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but shouldn't the trivia mention ho the music is nearly always the same, nearly,RPG Gamer. I HAVE RPG!! (talk) 11:44, 26 March 2013 (EDT)
- I don't think it is necessary to mention this in the article's Trivia section, really. Trivia sections should be reserved for really interesting facts or points that can't fit in the main body of the article, and this factoid about the music isn't really worthy to mention. --- ThePremiumYoshi (talk)
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis Split
Strangely, world contents of the setting in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis are merged with the general location of Peach's Castle. That seems wrong to me. Should that be made into its own article, just like Spooky Attic and Jungle Hijinks? My guess is yes. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 21:46, 26 August 2016 (EDT)
- That seems like a better idea seeing as I was trying to look up the world during my project and got redirected so splitting would be the best idea. (talk) (edits) 21:49, 26 August 2016 (EDT)
- Move made. I think I edited everything that needs to be edited (disambiguation page, template, world, and Peach's Castle). If I missed anything, please let me know. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 03:31, 27 August 2016 (EDT)
Top of Peach's Castle
Should this have its own article? It's specified as a separate location. It should at least have a section on this article.File:Mr L Render.png Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 13:35, 2 October 2016 (EDT)
Peach's Castle in Super Mario Run's Kingdom Builder Mode
If anyone had bothered to play Super Mario Run's Kingdom Builder Mode, I think Princess Peach's Castle appears when either you save her or raise the level progression of your Kingdom Builder Mode. --LTIan (talk) 21:13, 29 January 2017 (EST)
