Reminder
Please stop reverting useless trivia edit on the Super Mario Wiki. This isn't a warning, and it's possible that you made a mistake by accident or without realizing it; this is simply a reminder for your information. If the action continues, then a warning will be issued. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. If you feel this reminder was undeserved, you may appeal it. |
Your edit was reverted multiple times because it was not noteworthy material. Please stop re-adding this trivia point; if you see that something you added has been removed, you should check the article's History page to see the reasoning behind the removal, rather than adding it back in again.
And as Alex95 has already advised you above, please italicise game titles like Mario Kart: Double Dash!! (including the appropriate punctuation) next time, like so: ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]''
Thanks. Mario JC 09:00, 17 September 2016 (EDT)
Image Category Reminder
Hello, Boss Wing 200. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
Several things were not handled properly with File:Bandicam 2016-10-21 19-39-06-327.jpg
- Bad file name. It was changed for you by moving the file page. (File:Nintendo Switch Mario Kart Game.jpg)
- The license was not specified. It is below the summary box as a drop-down on Special:Upload
- The image was not categorized correctly (Category:Nintendo Switch Images)
I hope this gives you better direction what we want from you if you decide to upload images. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:38, 21 October 2016 (EDT)
Grammar
Hi. When writing full sentences, you do not need to capitalise every word; only proper nouns (names like Mario, King Boo etc.) and the first word after a period. You also failed to italicise the game titles; please remember this next time. You can refer to the Manual of Style for more information. Thanks. Mario JC 07:47, 2 November 2016 (EDT)
