Maizō

Maizō is a species of crab enemies that made a brief appearance during the events of Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. These crabs show up in Course No. 6, Rice Beach, where they would stay hidden in the sand until Wario would make a Ground Pound around their territory. Then, the crustaceans would jump out of the sand, revealing themselves. Each crab holds a 10 Gold Coin. In order to rob the crabs, the player has to make a Body Slam attack on them. However, they are stationary only for a short time after they hop out of the sand, then they would rush to get away from Wario. Nevertheless, even if the hero does not manage to catch and succesfully defeat them, the Maizō crabs will respawn in the sand whenever they are off-screen.
