Template:DDKart-infobox The Goo-Goo Buggy is Baby Mario's kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. It is a lightweight kart and is set as a default when the game is first started. It has low speed, but perfect acceleration and good steer. However, this kart is light, and therefore is easily knocked around by heavier karts. The name comes from the onomatopoeia a baby makes.

The Goo-Goo Buggy has the same speed and acceleration as the Toadette Kart in terms of stars, and the two karts are also tied in weight, meaning that they can't push each other around. However, the two karts are easily pushed around by the Para Wing (another kart with the same speed and acceleration, but is slightly heavier). Even though it has a one star rated speed trait, it is faster than the other karts with a one star rated speed trait, and its speed ties with the Boo Pipes and the Koopa Dasher, despite it having one star less. However, it accelerates the weakest among all karts with a five star rated acceleration.

Even though the game lists the Goo-Goo Buggy's acceleration as five stars, the Boo Pipes, the Rattle Buggy, the Toad Kart, the Para Wing, the Koopa Dasher, and the Toadette Kart have slightly higher acceleration.

Trivia

An image of the weight error that the Goo-Goo Buggy has in Battle Mode.
The Goo-Goo Buggy isn't pushing back the Bullet Blaster, which would be the case in GP races.

Another example of the incorrect weight of the Kart in Battle Mode.
  • Strangely, In Battle Mode, this kart's weight is tied with the Bullet Blaster's weight. However, it's heavier than the Bullet Blaster in any other game mode.
