Snifit or Whiffit (known as Hit It or Snifit in the PAL version) is a game show hosted by a Snifit bearing the name of his species in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. The show is accessed in Stump Glade in World 3. The show consists of three challenges inside a room filled with poisonous gas, hence the "whiffit" portion of the show's name. The prize for winning the show is the third Wiggler Segment, but returning after beating the level gives him nothing.

Before the show, Mario is given two chances to opt out. Doing so results in him being tossed out of the studio and back into the area before. After completing all the challenges, Mario is given the option to partake in a bonus challenge; completing it allows him to obtain the Radiator thing.

Challenges

Pick-and-Choose Panic

The first challenge in the show is a true or false quiz. Snifit gives Mario a question, which he must answer by hitting the check and "X" blocks on both sides of him. There is no limit to the number of questions that may be answered wrong, but Mario must answer three correctly to advance.

The questions asked vary for each attempt at the show. The answers to some of the questions also vary, as they have a true and false wording:

  • "Your host's name is Snifit." (True)

Big Bonking Snifit Bash

The second challenge of the show involves Mario having to bash the heads of "unpaid Snifit interns" with the hammer, similar to the Whack-a-Mole game in real life. There are four holes, and Mario must bash twenty Snifits to advance. Hearts also occasionally briefly appear from the holes; hitting one allows Mario to recover 5 HP.

Unrelentingly Exciting Shuffle Game

The game is a basic shuffling game. There are three blocks, with only one containing a check mark; the others have not only an "X" but also a Snifit. Mario must select the correct block three times to win. Hitting one of the Snifit blocks obviously triggers a battle with a Snifit, but the room also fills with poison gas as soon as the battle begins. After each battle, the blocks that once contained Snifits remain empty until the round is over. Selecting the correct block also gives Mario a heart to recover 5 HP. The speed at which the blocks shuffle also changes with each round, and in the final round, a fourth block is added. Completing this takes Mario to a backstage area, where he can finish the level.

Big-Bonking-Panic-Pick-And-Choose Snifit-Bash

The show's secret bonus challenge, it is a combination of the first and second challenges. Mario is given a true or false question, but must bash the heads of five "unpaid Snifit interns" before he can answer. As with the first challenge, answering three questions correctly results in victory, allowing Mario to obtain the bonus prize, which is the Radiator.

Trivia

  • As seen above, one of the true/false questions spells "Toads" with a lowercase "t."
