Maka Wuhu

Template:Racecourse Wuhu Mountain Loop (known as Maka Wuhu in North America) is the final race track in the Star Cup of Mario Kart 7, which takes place on Wuhu Island. It uses the same theme as the one in Wuhu Island Loop.

Description

Unlike most other courses, Wuhu Mountain Loop has no laps, but a start- and endpoint (which are in different areas, a trait specific to this track) and is divided in three sections. The race starts at the base of the island near the bridge and crosses the Wuhu Island Loop track. After some twists and turn the track heads into the caves on the mountain. Upon emerging from the cave the track loops around the side of the mountain and pass the island's castle before continuing to ascend the mountain, dodging rolling boulders as they go. At the top of the mountain players will then drive over a boost pad and glide down to the ocean and the finish line.

Shortcuts

Wuhu Mountain Loop has two shortcuts. The first one is a hidden path in the lake in front of the castle near the end of the second section, while the second one is through said castle.

The course also has a rather infamous glitch shortcut, activated by jumping into the water on the right of the course after the second section begins, and teleporting the player to the bottom of the hill before the third section begins. This shortcut has been removed as of version 1.1.
