I was curious about the Thwomp locked behind bars near the beginning in the green light. Whats is with this? This seems strange, could it be that he has done something wrong? Learner 17:52, 13 March 2008 (EDT)

It is possibly a stage prop or hazard (although it is trapped in the bars). It may also be there to distract human racers. Mariofan459Mario's side.gif

The caged Thwomp has no significance to the course. Speculation is pointless.--Knife (talk) 16:15, 25 September 2009 (EDT)

It has no effect on the course, its probably just there to distract you.Possibly, if they bring it back in the next one(MarioKart3DS-Cant wait!), it might serve a purpose.-Smileymiley5001

Is it true that the Green Thwomp is named Marty? --File:YoshiMP8a.PNG SuperYoshiBros File:YoshiMP8a.PNG 18:44, 8 April 2011 (EDT)

I just Googled it, and it's listed as being named such on other wikis, on YouTube, Gamefaqs, etc., but I haven't found anything official (i.e. from Nintendo). I'll just put a refneeded tag on it. Mario4Ever (talk) 18:49, 8 April 2011 (EDT)

Should we note MK7's version? Lakituthequick.png Lakituthequick 10:51, 27 September 2011 (EDT)

Shortcut

I know of a glitch shortcut in the WII version. Should this bee added to the article (I'm wondering because it's a glitch). Arceus79 22:14, 23 March 2012 (EDT)

No, I don't think we should add it. You can add it in Mario Kart Wii/Glitches, though. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C)
