Move Please

I believe this page should be moved to "Mushroom Castle," because Super Paper Mario makes it clear that that is the name. Princess Peach's Castle is simply saying that the castle belongs to Peach. Why else would we label "Mario's House" as "Mario's Pad?" Any objections? Klaus Kratchet

Sounds Good to me.... - Ultimatetoad

No leave. This is the more common name.Nintendofan146 20:28, 13 May 2008 (EDT)

Let's see... so if I have this right, it's been called Princess Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64 and Paper Mario. It's been called Mushroom Castle in Super Mario RPG and Super Paper Mario. I'm going to check out Super Princess Peach, but currently it's pretty much either/or. Stumpers! 23:42, 13 May 2008 (EDT)

I'd go with the current name. YLYLsig.jpg

Main Picture

Is it just me, or is it against the importance policy to have a Super Smash Bros. picture as the main picture when there's other ones available? I mean, I'm kinda biased against the SSB series, so maybe that's why I'm saying this... I was meaning to get to that. Since, per a proposal, we now have separate articles for all Smash Bros. courses, that picture is no longer applicable to this article, regardless of one's opinion of the series. I'd suggest replacing it with a picture from Super Mario Galaxy. Stumpers! 12:37, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
How about this? [1] Stumpers! 12:41, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
I don't know, in that one you can't see the castle itself very clearly, and plus there's a lot of distracting stuff around it. Is there anywhere where a picture of it from Super Mario 64 (DS) might be found? Well, there is one from Super Mario 64. I'll replace the main picture with it. If anyone disagrees, they an change it. Sprite of the Ruby Star in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door CrystalYoshi Yoshi Egg Sprite.png 10:42, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

Comic and Television Info

I'm trying to figure out all the times the castle has appeared. We'll have to go through the Nintendo Comics System with a fine tooth comb, that's a given, but what about the rest? I remember that it appeared in Super Mario Adventures and "Tag Team Trouble." I think it also appeared in, "Recycled Koopa," but I'm not sure how the castle looked from the outside on that show, so someone else would need to confirm that. Anyway, if anyone else remembers where it appeared, let me know! Stumpers! 19:53, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Just caught the a line where it said the castle's garden was the princess's, so that means it did appear in that episode, and with a very good picture, too! Stumpers! 19:56, 16 November 2008 (EST)

Images

The Main image and the Super Mario 64 section image; Where are they from? For the Main Image, the sky never looks pink in Super Mario 64, and the second pic looks edited. The sun is shining from the wrong angle(shadows are where they aren't suppose to be), and the trees are not the trees in the original game. --Garlic Man (talk)

The second image has been taken care of. As for the first, we'll need to find a replacement first. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
In Mario Kart 64, when the trophy is given out, the sky is pink. Maybe this image is from Mario Kart 64? Mario (Santa)'s map icon from Mario Kart Tour Mario-HOHO! (Talk / Stalk) 15:19, 8 April 2010 (EDT)
Yeah, I checked. It is. Hello, I'm Time Turner.

Problem!!

Why is the Mario Kart series between the Super Mario Series and the Paper Mario Series?? MarioKart66! (talk)

How is this a problem? --Garlic Man (talk)
I don't see any problem. YLYLsig.jpg

Mario Golf

We need some information about its appearance in the N64 game Mario Golf. We know it's one of the two Mini-Golf courses besides Luigi's Garden. --PrincessDaisyFanatic3883 18:00, January 29th, 2011 (UTC)

Back-to-back TTP's, I know, right?

Now, just take a look at the article and scroll down the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Now tell me that it isn't the biggest section of the page of the entire article.

My point is, Much of that - if not half - is dealing with the exterior of the Peach's Castle, known as Peach's Castle Gardens. It is stated in the game, in the guidebook, as well as among other articles on this wiki. There is more than enough informatin to split, as well as a boss that was fought there!

It seems only fit that if they are separate of each other, they should not be together in the first place. Even if this fails, there should be a sub-header about the garden within that section.

Split

  1. Baby Mario Bloops (talk) - Per my proposal.
  2. Mario & Luigi (talk) Per Baby Mario Bloops
  3. Bop1996 (talk) Per proposal.
  4. New Super Yoshi (talk) I count the garden as a different location since it has it's own map and different music to inside. Per BMB.
  5. Toad85 (talk) The garden is a seperate location. It is an insult to the location's integrity to have it merged with another location, simply because they are both within the fences of Peach's Castle.
