Template:Articleabout Template:Company-infobox Hudson Soft is a video game company. They are well-known especially for the Bomberman series. Hudson's most notable work for Nintendo and Mario is the Mario Party series, which has received eight console games in the series so far, plus two portable games (Mario Party Advance and Mario Party DS). Nintendo recently purchased some of their developers. The company has announced to close and no longer develop other games by late of February 2011 as it was acquired by Konami. Hu-Bee is the company's mascot.
Most of the Mario Party staff at Hudson moved to Nd Cube when Hudson's former president moved over there.

- The fact that a bee is Hudson's mascot is a reference to the Hudson Hornet, a sedan from the 1950s built by the unrelated Hudson Automobile Company.
