Hello fellow Mario Kirby people! Wahoo!
I have some rules for this talk page.
1. Don't say anything personal. This includes saying that it is my birthday. There be a lot of those around if I didn't do this. 2. Don't use my real name. Either use you or Yoshi the Space Station Manager or Yoshi the SSM. 3. Don't make fun of me of any kind. Even if it meets the code of the wiki, don't do it. Don't break rules at all here. This includes swearing. 4. Don't say something bad about any character in video games. You can say something wrong with my changes about characters. 5. You can talk to me about the Mario Boards if there is no category for you to put it in. 6. Unless you have an actual excuse for your writing being bad (even then try to make it look nice), make your messages readable. But, don't make it too complicated or I may not understand the message. 7. All friend requests/co-worker requests go under your username. I may say no if I want to. Don't expect a response about it on this talk page. It will be on your talk page. The picture I send will be appropriate for the friend request. If co-workers, there is only one image. These don't apply to the 41st non-friend-request category as it will be on the bottom when archiving.
Other than that, all is good.
Fun Rules 1. Only park whatever vehicle you have in the appropriate location. 2. Don't come asking for I ride. Not only am I managing a spaceship, but also this wiki. Sorry. :( 3. If you say Pink Gold Peach is a great character, I say you're a little off, but ok. If you say she is a good character, very slightly off, but glad you think that way. If you say she is the worst character, I would let you believe that. If you say she is a bad character, that's your belief. Pink Gold Peach is an ok character, but Nintendo should of added Silver Luigi to the games she appeared in before they added her. 4. Disregard the following rule. 5. Disregard all fun rules, especially the previous one.
When this page has 41, the first 40 will be archived. When this page has 21, archive that it will go into will viewable. Friend request don't count towards the archive, but will be archived with the respected archive.

Please explain how an enemy that is essentially named "Poo that darts around" is not based off of Poo. Because that's what you're saying when you say they aren't a derivative. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:49, 17 April 2018 (EDT)

Hi
Can i help you create articles of levels from Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS? Yoshi Egg 1990
16:45, 8 June 2018 (EDT)
- I don't know. I have an Excel table that I am using to help make the articles and I have some of that work on my uneditable-by-others sandbox (which I call Wiki Work Space). But, if you are able to edit all the levels of World 18 (not including the last level) and World 19, then you could. Just remember that I want to do some too. Also. The only thing left afterwards is to go back through the pages I already created and see if you can improve them (and they do especially after a proposal requiring the number of enemies be on the level articles).
Yoshi the SSM (talk) 17:10, 8 June 2018 (EDT)
Well, if you don't want, that's ok. That's why i asked. Yoshi Egg 1990

Rocky Wrench Reworking Relations proposal
Since two options are both favored by more than half of the total amount of voters each, the proposal should be extended. Please do not change it back. (T|C) 18:00, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- Whoops. Should of actually read this before actually changing it because I saw you put something on my talk page. But, I am waiting on Alex95's word since he hasn't posted his final decision since I made a comment to him. And I mention to him another proposal that also had two options with more than majority vote. One that he was the proposer for it.
Yoshi the SSM (talk) 18:06, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- Okay. (I was about to give you a reminder if not for the comment above.) Also, regarding the proposal you mentioned on Alex95's talk page, that's because each voter voted for only one option each, therefore the winning side had 9/16 as opposed to the losing side's 7/16. The Rocky Wrench proposal, on the other hand, has 9/15 for Option 2 and 8/15 for Option 3. Since both amounts are more than half, the proposal should be extended until only one side constitutes more than half of all voters.
(T|C) 18:16, 15 September 2018 (EDT)
- Oh right. I thought I was onto something there. Oh well. Even still, if you just look at Option 2 and Option 3 as if they were the only options (it's not but just saying if the proposal was that way), it couldn't of had the 9 to 8 (which leads to 17 instead) due to four users voting for those two options. It is unknown which of the two options the two who didn't vote for either Option 2 or 3, so I won't include them. If the repeated voters aren't taken into account, it is 5 to 4 with Option 2 winning. However, I also mentioned that three (including myself) preferred Option 2 over 3, but only 1 Option 3 over 2. So, the taking the most likely case they would of done into this, this would end of 8 to 5, with Option 2 winning by three votes (the minimum). However, since it was agreed on by the admins to keep the extension, this is just me basically saying what I thought how the proposal should of ended.

Re: London 2012 Olympic Games Wii
Hi, thanks for offering to help! Yeah, once you've finished off those Super Mario Maker levels (Great work on those by the way), if you're interested, the evet articles are the things I'd like to get done first- they all need creating or a rewrite. Some of the article names may need double checking first too. I think it's best to base it off the 100m one (Canoe Sprint 1000m is done in the same way), as I think it covers everything except the London Party information, but that's a different problem. There's also a lot of images in the gallery that can be used at least as a start, and it may be worth checking the title-sharing articles too if more are needed. Thank you though, and there's no need to worry about how fast it gets done, as I probably wouldn't get through it any quicker. :) BBQ Turtle (talk) 16:18, 18 September 2018 (EDT)
- Good question, I'm not really sure. If you don't mind the wait, I can do a bit of investigation on Wednesday and double check the names from all of the games for those events, and we can see where to go from there. If the correct name for Badminton is Badminton - Doubles, it can go there with an aboutfile clearing it up and we'll change the current Badminton article to a disambiguation. Singles is going to be split into at least two anyway, but I think that the 2012 Wii article would be OK to go to Table Tennis - Singles anyway, but I think we need to leave fencing for now to get a full clear up of all names before we cause a bit of a mess, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Nice work on the articles you've done so far though! :) BBQ Turtle (talk) 17:47, 24 September 2018 (EDT)
- It doesn't need one, as long as that's the name of the event used in-game, the other two are referred to in-game as "Synchronized Swimming (Doubles)" and "Synchronized Swimming (Team)", so what seem like identifiers are part of the event's name. Just add an about at the top and everything'll be fine, it'd be adding unnecessary identifiers otherwise. BBQ Turtle (talk) 12:05, 25 September 2018 (EDT)
- Hi, sorry for late response, I just had a huge ton of homework, but I've looked the stuff up. OK, so from what I can piece together, we may have to shuffle things around a bit, as I think we need to go for the second, longer name as opposed to one on the screen, which kind of acts like a class. It's a really confusing way of doing things, but it happens in Rio 2016 too, an example being Swimming and 100m Freestyle Swimming. So things like Equestrian would be a class page, like Canoeing, while the event information would go onto Equestrian - Show Jumping. 100m seems to be the random exception from this rule, as a 100m class is more than illogical, so we'll leave that one as it is. And regarding the stuff about the songs, I don't think you need to go into huge depth about what each song is composed of, though all of the songs need to have their names mentioned, and the separate moves need to be covered (i.e. What a red circle does, what a star does), but we don't need the order- we'd be there forever if we did that. But anything's fine to be moved around if needs be, a redirect or disambiguation page would probably need to have been created there anyway, so it's only a minor inconvenience. BBQ Turtle (talk) 15:55, 27 September 2018 (EDT)
- Great work on the articles, and you don't need to worry about how long any of it takes, there's no rush. And yeah, if you're still interested, then working on London Party would be great! I think it's probably best to start by making the minigame articles. I personally don't know anything about the online thing with the character list (I'm really not the right person to ask about that, sorry) but I think the list at the bottom of the navigation template probably has most of the games listed, and I think the in-game mission list might help fill in a few gaps. We can always come back later if we need to figure out which characters to talk to for which events. BBQ Turtle (talk) 16:12, 19 October 2018 (EDT)
- My best guess for this would be to follow after the Mario Kart course articles and create a layout section alongside the gameplay. Gameplay can, like the other articles, just go over the controls, item usage, etc., whereas layout can go over the position and type of obstacles, special sections, etc.. I think that's the best bet for now, but I can't remember enough about Dream Long Jump and Dream Sprint to be exactly sure, but that would definitely work for Dream Equestrian. And it may get shuffled around a bit anyway once I get around to cleaning up how locations are covered, but doing it this way would be best for that scenario too. Theories
Look at this one: Bowser, when he was a child was a kind guy, but it was actually Kamek who made him evil. So, what do you think about mine? Do you agree, or are you neutral? -- FanOfYoshi at 13:14, 19 September 2018 (EDT)
- Yeah... No. Especially not to the Yoshis. Then later (almost) kidnapped Baby Peach in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. So, this leaves an unknown small amount of time we don't know about. However, it is unlikely he was kind before the games.

Hi, just letting you know that the color brown is currently not used for proposals that end in no consensus. I once proposed that this be the case (yeah, I messed up the link in one of my edit summaries), but it was met with overwhelming opposition. Please discuss this with another admin before trying to change it back again. Thanks! (T|C) 11:41, 21 September 2018 (EDT)

NSMBDS work
So originally, I had generally assumed that all levels had enemy counts on them for NSMBDS but apparently that isn't true. For this, move the current charts to be the same format as the wii game, and add/create/count for the ones that don't have them listed. Sorry for the extra work there; I did not know. Trig - 16:22, January 20, 2020 (EST)
- Since TDS is unavailable and Count Luigi got blocked, would you want to continue the remaining levels for NSMBDS and NSMBW? It's okay if you say no, but since you seemed adamant the first time, I fighured you might want to help wrap it up. Thanks! Trig - 19:31, March 3, 2020 (EST)
- Sure, I can help out with that. I will do the remainder of the levels for NSMBDS and NSMBW.

Broken file links in user page
Hi, I saw an image that was uploaded by you, which led me to see your user page, and I saw 2 broken file links there:
- At the start or your user page, below your Mii image is a link to "Red.gif" captioned "SNES Red Yoshi". This "Red.gif" file was moved to File:YI Red Yoshi Animated Sprite.gif.
- In the file page oy your header you have a link to "MSS Red Yoshi Character Select Mugshot.png". That file was moved to File:MSS Red Yoshi Character Select Mugshot.png.
I note this to you in case that you want to correct them and stuff. -Kirbeat (talk) 20:22, February 4, 2022 (EST)

Hello!
Can we be friends? XXMeta KnightmareXX (talk) 15:49, February 13, 2025 (EST) UPDATE! I got some advice
Hey. I'm Mario, your local MarioWiki janitor. What else do I do? You can check below to get a taste of what my editing habits and goals are, even though I rarely meet them myself. So, let that sink in. Emotes I useMarioWiki has a rich set of sprites which are pretty perfect for emotes, but it's not in widespread use.... But I do use them! I'm going to paste some here just for my convenience. User information"Fufufufufufufufufufufufufu..." - Me Okay so I'm not an actual Mario and I don't go by "Maria" or "Marion" or whatever. In reality, I'm Emilie and I'm a dumb American woman with French and Chinese heritage. I reside somewhere in the Santa Clara county in California. My home address will be revealed once I figure out how to divide by zero. I suppose it's already a given, since you're browsing this wiki, but I'm a major Mario fanatic in terms of games and the character. People say this about themselves a lot, but I'm one of the most passionate Mario fangirls here, so I really, really love Mario. He's not exactly the traditional aspect of handsome, but I still think he's so cute! Little details about me? Oh, yes, I'm left-handed, which gave rise to my primary more well-known alias, LeftyGreenMario (talk). Coincidentally, in politics, I'm a leftist and a believer in democratic socialism. I'm also a strong atheist, which means I do not believe in the existence of God and I reject all religions. Finally, I'm an asexual aromantic which means I have no sexual nor romantic attraction to any sex/gender, and I am cisgender. As well as being interested in Mario and video games, I also enjoy casual birding and drawing, and I own a very adorable cockatiel. I love birds; my favorite wild bird is the California scrub jay and I know most of my birds around my area. I also love lots of different kinds of food, especially Chinese, Korean, and Japanese food and I'm far from a picky eater, wishing one day I can try chitterlings on pizza. I also enjoy all sorts of music though the genres I listen to the most are heavy metal, rock, modern pop, R&B, funk/soul/disco, electronic dance music, jazz, and rap/hip-hop. I'm open to listening to other genres, such as country, chiptune, dubstep, jpop/kpop/cpop. Soundtracks from video games are cool too, but are not my favorite. I have an identical twin sister going by Ray Trace (talk) who shares a similar strong interest and passion for the Mario series, except she loves Baby Luigi as much as I love Mario. Stuff I do
Aside from killing Wario, Donkey Kong, Ganondork, Mr. Krabs, Homer Simpson, Peter Griffin, and Eddy (from Ed Edd n Eddy), what do I do here? Mostly, I make minor edits and stuff. As stated previous, I'm a frequent participant in wiki projects and discussions around here including MarioWiki:Proposals, MarioWiki:Featured articles, and collaborations in the external forums. I upload pictures I ripped or taken via Dolphin Emulator. I also use other emulators to take screenshots of games, mainly Mario Party. If there is a huge amount of Mario Party minigame pictures with Daisy, Waluigi, and Wario, blame it on my sister or me. Luigi's MansionFor my own convenience, here is what the Luigi's Mansion article should be required to have, or it should have it to be the difference between a good and a great article:
This list may not be complete nor definitive and may be subject to change. MarioIt's not about me, it's about the article. Here's what the article should have before it can be featured.
This list may not be complete nor definitive and may be subject to change. And here are some opinions I have related to this article.
Historical catastropheThe article was nominated to be featured at one point (check the quality of the article at the time; it's really bad; pardon for the italics throughout the article, but some people back then had no clue how to close italics), but I can safely say that its only remaining problem is coverage, which I'm dutifully doing here and there. The rest of the problems pointed out in this nomination is hopefully gone and a relic of the past. I've also proofread the entire history section of the article at one point, so I did remove cruft and changed to present tense. What's remaining is, again, coverage and focusing this article's writing like a laser, spotting any more cruft or poor writing. I may have to ask other editors feedback to avoid personal biases which will cloud my judgement of the writing quality.
Oh my god, I was way too young and inexperienced to understand this hilariously atrocious writing, but now I'm older, ...
I dump videos of Mario (and Luigi) talking so I can keep track of them
There's various videos of Mario at Super Nintendo World and whatnot but they're all phone videos and whatnot so not very useful for me. Fun watches though!

Wario's every day living is something like this but it turns out the world hates himWario's appliances are rebellious. Refrigerators fall on him, ovens hurl charcoal on his clothes, toasters mysteriously detach themselves, their prongs are face-up when he walks near the toaster; the toilet is backed up, the sinks spit rusty water all over his money, the blender tips over and spills, and the stovetop never turns on, but explodes when Wario tries farting on it to start it. The shower head is twisted at impossible angles, causing the water to spill out at random angles and intervals. His malfunctioning smoke detector, right outside his bedroom is beeping constantly and dripping something mysterious out of it, even with fresh batteries. Wario's debit card is rejected because Wario maxxed out all his credit cards (all with high APRs and annual fees). Wario's mobile phone restarts at random intervals and takes 30 minutes to boot, and Twitter especially drains his batteries even though that's the only site he goes on, and he is too lazy to close his 268 and counting tabs. Wario's internet provider is Xfinity, and his cables are twisted too, making it impossible for him to deal with the constant power surges the electrical outlets experience. The TV airs only recent Family Guy episodes and infomercials. Wario's Car, which has six different flood damage reports on CARFAX, also goes off every night at least three times between 2-5am but never at a specific time. His fire extinguisher is located three flights down the stairs, which Wario has to use frequently because dust bunnies accumulate under his bed and occasionally burst into flames. Neither repo people nor law enforcement can even enter his house, despite Wario's accumulation of arrest warrants, because it is such a biohazard, even though Wario's mortgage is underwater and his credit score is zero. Wario's house is so inhospitable that Martians can't live in it; even cockroaches hate it and all sorts of rain and snow, even acid rain, go around it. Wario's antenna, however, is an excellent conductor for lightning strikes. Anyone who parks their car near his house gets their ventilation system clogged. Make sure the decompiled folders are in GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons\ and use extended spawn menu to easily access the content. A personal message for Wario from me back in 2009![]() Wario's last smiling moment before he gets hit by a star or bullet bill. I don't like Wario too much. One time, I made him 12th (along with BabyLuigiOnFire (talk)) in Mario Kart Wii by using stars and ramming into him continuously until he either fell off or the star ran out of power. Hey, I don't really race! I just want to ensure that guy is last! Do you think I torture Wario in other games too? You bet. Wario got nabbed by a Pirahna Plant in the minigame Piranha's Pursuit and got gobbled up in Tug o' War in Mario Party. He loses badly by 40 stars in Mario Party 6 in Faire Square. He gets hit by a truck and a train in Mario Kart 64. He gets lapped in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. A smart bomb detonates on Wario in Super Smash Bros Brawl. In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Yellow Kirby constantly crashes into Wario with a Warp Star and kills him right after he respawns, and this repeats so many times. In Mario Party 4, Wario gets zero stars and zero coins in the results while 3rd place has at least 9 stars. Wario gets blasted by the Zero Coin Laser in Mario Party Superstars. And there are more games, but this just shows that we don't nail Wario in Mario Kart Wii only. You know, Wario tends to complain how much we torture him. "Waaaaah!" He cries! "Stop torturing meee!!" Yeah. I have no sympathy for him, but who does? Not even Nintendo, who made him a comic relief character. No one wants to be a comic relief character. No one wants to be bonked in the head by a bob-omb or "sweem" through the air (although that would be cool). Who knew? Everyone is just going to laugh and that comic relief character will have a horrible life. But I don't have sympathy for Wario. In the next spinoff game that comes out, expect more Wario torture.
