<< Directory of missions >>

Newsletter... is the seventeenth Trouble Center mission in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, initiated by Mayor Dour. In the original game, it is first available after clearing Chapter 4, whereas in the Nintendo Switch remake, it is available after clearing Chapter 7.

Mission

Mario must first travel to Twilight Town and visit Mayor Dour in his house. Dour asks Mario to deliver the Routing Slip to the Puni elder. Next, Mario must travel to The Great Tree in Boggly Woods and give the slip to the elder, who asks Mario to deliver the same slip to Mayor Kroop due to having a hernia. Mario must then travel to Petalburg and give the slip to Kroop, who asks him to deliver the slip back to Dour due to having a cold. Finally, Mario must travel again to Twilight Town and give the slip to Dour, who thankfully rewards him with thirty coins, and the trouble is solved.
