Vanishing Ghost House, or Meringue Clouds-Ghost House, is the Ghost House of Meringue Clouds in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Stonecrush Tower and its own completion unlocks Above the Bouncy Clouds, Flame Chomp Ferris Wheel, and Three-Headed Snake Block.
Layout
Luigi enters the Ghost House, with the platforms disappearing behind him. ? Blocks and a Ghost Block are then found, followed by a moving platform. More ? Blocks and Ghost Blocks are encountered as the platform moves to the right. Another disappearing platform is then found, and is followed by another moving platform, which moves quickly downwards. Another section of disappearing platforms and Ghost Blocks are then found. A fake Warp Door is then found at the end of the area, with a real Warp Door found in a fake wall. The door leads to the area with the Goal Pole, where ? Blocks and another Ghost Block are found.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is located near the beginning of the level, above the rotating platform. Luigi must jump on top of a ? Block in order to collect the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is found prior to the door that leads out of the Ghost House, and Luigi can either glide from the visible door or jump on top of a ? Block to collect it.
- Star Coin 3: Under the door that leads out of the Ghost House is a hidden area with the third Star Coin behind a flight of stairs.
Secret exit
After the second rotating block drops down, Luigi should jump to the left to find a secret door. This leads to the secret platform, which accesses a shortcut to Ludwig's Block-Press Castle.
Luigi sightings
- If Luigi takes the secret exit route, he will see a picture of King Boo and Luigi on a sign, which references their artwork from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
