Element medals are special medallions found in Luigi's Mansion. They give the Poltergust 3000 the ability to absorb and cast elemental spirits. The elements form a triangular relationship.

  • The Fire Element Medal (or Fire Medal)[1] can be found in the 1F Mirror Room.
    • After sucking a Fire Elemental Ghost, the player can use the Poltergust 3000 to blow fire. These flames can be used to light candles, melt ice, burn fake doors, and expose a Flash's heart.

  • The Water Element Medal (or Water Medal)[1] can be found in the 1F Kitchen.
    • After sucking a Water Elemental Ghost, the player can use the Poltergust 3000 to blow water. This stream can be used to water plants, cool down doors on fire, defeat Sparks without making them explode, and expose a Temper Terror's heart.

  • The Ice Element Medal (or Ice Medal)[1] can be found in the 2F Tea Room.
    • After sucking an Ice Elemental Ghost, the player can use the Poltergust 3000 to shoot ice steam. This steam can be used to cool Miss Petunia's hot bath, freeze water, slow Boos down, freeze the ones composing Boolossus, and expose a Blue Blaze's heart.
