Walk the Dinosaur
Single stand-alone cover.

"Walk the Dinosaur" is a funk and soul styled song featured on the Super Mario Bros. Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, released by Capitol Records. It is a cover of the song "Walk the Dinosaur" by Was (Not Was), this time performed by George Clinton and an uncredited female vocal. The song is humorously credited to "George Clinton & The Goombas" on track listings. Aside from being on the soundtrack, it was also released as a stand-alone CD and vinyl single. The song is the second song played in the Super Mario Bros. film credits, after "Almost Unreal" by Roxette. The music video features George Clinton and a back-up dancer in a leopard print one piece dancing in front of flashing colors, scenes from the movie and an animated picture of an iguana. The lyrics are slightly reworked, with "Goom-goom, Acting-acting like a Goomba" being repeated throughout.
