Template:Infobox Game & Watch Gallery 3 is the third game in the Game and Watch remake series for the Game Boy line. It included five minigames playable from the start and five more unlockables; five of which could be played in either Classic Mode with the original Game & Watch characters or an updated Modern Version featuring Mario franchise characters. Game & Watch Gallery 3 was re-released on the Nintendo 3DS's Virtual Console in Europe on September 25, 2014, in Australia on September 26, 2014, in North America on February 5, 2015, and as a promotional release in Japan on November 21, 2014 for those who register Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and one of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire with Club Nintendo before January 20, 2015.

Museum Unlockables

  • Egg - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Wolf a wolf must catch Eggs lain by hens.
  • Donkey Kong II - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Donkey Kong Jr. must hit four keys up the screen in order to free his father from chains.
  • Pinball - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Ball the famous arcade pinball machines. You operate two sets of flippers. One set on the top screen and one set on the bottom screen.
  • Donkey Konf Hockeyl - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Donkey Kong and Mario Here Donkey Kong and Mario are playing hockey. The object is to score goals against the opponent. Look out for the referee and 'Crazy Spots' which alter the course and speed of the puck.
  • Donkey Konf Circusl - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Donkey Kong Here it is Donkey Kong balancing on a barrel while juggling pineapples. Move Donkey Kong left and right to catch the pineapples, but beware of the falling fireballs. Mario stands watching his juggling performance.
  • Super Mario Bros. - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Mario here you control the fate of Mario and his mission is to rescue the princess toadstool, who is captured by the King of the Koopa. There are 8 different worlds to conquer, some scroll from right to left and some are stationary timed screens. When the 8 worlds are cleared, the next 8 worlds await Mario (There are 9 set of loops). The Worlds are: 1. Canyon, 2. Gym, 3. Burning Room (Timer Screen), 4. Channel, 5. Hop, 6. Beam (Timer Screen), 7. Maze and 8. Burning Road. The enemies to watch out for are Lakitu, a henchman of Koopa who throws a hammer from the cloud to hinder the path of Mario and Bullet Bill who tries to hit Mario.
  • Climber - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Climber who is trying to get to the top of a 25 step fortress. He has been given special boots that make him jump high and also an armour to break the ceilings. Each time you make a climb the number of steps reduces and once you clear the phase, you move on to the next phase. On the way up you have to watch out for Blockman, who is trying to stop you (He also builds floors) and Eyerom, a bird like creature. Also watch out for thorny plants. After every 5 phases, a monster will appear at the top of the fortress. While the monster is randomly moving up and down. Your object is to stab the monster. Scary eh?
  • Balloon Fight - In this re-release of the game with the same name, Balloon Man with the only difference being the see-through screen. I find the New Wide Screen version easier. Anyway, here you control Balloon Man and the object is to collect balloons. Sounds easy enough if it wasn't for the fact that you have to control him by using an eject button to keep him from crashing into the sea. You also steer him left or right. You also have to watch out for the Sparks that are scattered around the screen. If you land on a blinking floor and press the warp button you will be warped to a bonus level. Once you have collected more than 25 balloons you will proceed to the next phase. Boss phase that appears at every 8 phases is a timer game where you have to capture Oiram Repus, the boss of the sky pirate. You do this by avoiding getting hit by the sparks that he throws. Every time you miss you loose 100 points and if you have less than that the game will end.

Note: Players can alternatively connect Game & Watch Gallery 3 with Game & Watch Gallery and Game & Watch Gallery 2 to unlock Game & Watch titles for the Museum with a link cable and 2 Game Boy Colors but this was removed in the 3DS Virtual Console version. Instructions on how to link the games together are still listed in the 3DS version, but they can't be selected.

- Hard mode in Judge is replaced with a 2P VS mode, but due to Game Boy and Game Boy Color Virtual Console games on the Nintendo 3DS not having 2 player functions, this mode can't be selected in the 3DS version.

- ALL Museum titles in previous games reappear in this Museum.

Secret

As the player collects stars, they will unlock a feature called Secret 1. This feature describes information regarding an inverted version of the Game & Watch title, Fire. When the player unlocks Secret 2, they can play the inverted Fire at any time, but will not be able to pause the game.

On a side note, there is no Modern mode version of this title, and the player can't earn stars for playing it. Additionally, the standard version of the game is used rather than the widescreen version, likely due to the size of the Game Boy Color screen.
