Template:Character-infobox Torchic is a Fire-type Pokémon that first appeared in Ruby and Sapphire. It evolves to Combusken at level 16, which evolves to Blaziken at level 36, and alongside Treeko and Mudkip, it is one of the Starter Pokémon of the Hoenn region. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it can be spawned from a Poké Ball and attacks by using Fire Spin, which involves it engulfing itself in flames, trapping opponents in the fire while accumulating damage. At the end of the attack, the trapped opponents get launched back a far distance.
