The 'Shroom:Issue 105/The 'Shroom Spotlight
Hello 'Shroom readers! Welcome to this month's edition of Spotlight. What we do here is highlight several articles that aren't up to shape and then you guys go to fix them up.
Welcome all readers of The 'Shroom, to this festive edition of Spotlight. And what am I doing to make it festive this year? I'm pretending that Poochy is covered in Christmas lights and holding a star instead of a spotlight. Oh, and also pretending that Lakitu is happier, because he just looks kind of miffed to be honest. Poor guy.
However, sadly, I'm a bit miffed. Why you ask? Because the majority of our focuses from last month were sadly left untouched, or barely touched. Toy Time Galaxy had most of its trivia removed, so thank you to The Pyro Guy (talk) and Time Turner (talk). Volcannon, whilst it had the tags removed, it was felt that the article didn't deserve those tags, and it was the case of someone mistaking a short article for a stub and whatnot, so remember people: just because an article is short, it doesn't make it a stub. A stub is only an article that lacks information. Peach's Bedroom was also improved by Time Turner (talk), but Marioguy (talk) and MeerkatMario (talk) helped improve the tense and structure of the article.
Anyway, now to introduce our six new focuses.
- File:PDSMBE-YellowWarpPipeIn.png (Image Quality) – Santa Claus won't be going down that chimney unless it's improved.
- Pyramid (rewrite) – Not every Pyramid should be covered here, find the treasured ones to keep, but removes the ones susceptible to the mummy's curse.
- Superstar Road (rewrite-expand) – This article can't be very super if it's missing descriptions of courses.
- Nintendo 3DS (trivia) – With all this trivia, this would be one bad Christmas present.
- Everfrost Peak (stub) – Hopefully this article won't be an EverStub.
- World 5 (Yoshi's Woolly World) (Wanted pages) – I like snow, and I like Yoshi, put two and two together and you can see why I want this article created.
Be sure to check back here next month, where I'll review the progress made on each of these articles. Please contact me if you have any questions, comments or feedback, or post a message in the dedicated forum thread and I'll reply as soon as possible. Thanks for reading, and get working!
