Deepsea Ruins
Template:Levelbox Deepsea Ruins, or Soda Jungle-5 is the fifth course of Soda Jungle in New Super Mario Bros. U, located in the Haunted sub-area of Soda Jungle. It takes place in a presumably steaming lake. This level uses the volcano underground music theme from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Layout
Similar to Stone-Eye Zone, the most prominent platforms are stone heads that have various behaviors, though they are completely immobile in the forest lake. The lake is also inhabited by Fish Bones and Circling Boo Buddies.
The second part of the course takes place in a dark underwater cave. There are many Jellybeams and Bonefishes, as well as tumbling head statues. The last area inside the cave contains Bulbers and more Circling Boo Buddies. In the Goal Pole area, Mario can jump on a group of rising Moai statues to reach the Flagpole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Between two Moai Heads.
- Star Coin 2: Within a group of Circling Boo Buddies.
- Star Coin 3: To the right of the end of the underwater section.
Secret Exit
Unlike most secret exits in the game, this course's secret exit is required to continue through Soda Jungle. A Warp Pipe leading to the secret exit is immediately to the right of the third Star Coin.
