3-Up Heart

Template:Item-infobox The 3-Up Heart is a blinking heart-shaped item in Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. If Wario obtains this item, he receives 3 extra lives. Since no other Wario Land game since has featured an extra life system, the item (along with all other extra life related items) has never reappeared. Other items that award three extra lives have appeared in other Mario games, usually in the form of the 3-Up Moon.
Making its appearances in hard-to-reach places and secret rooms, the 3-Up Heart remains immobile and does not disappear until Wario picks it up.
