Template:Level World 1-2 is the second level of World 1 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Layout
This level takes place underground. At the beginning of the level Mario must avoid the Goombas and run through a fake wall to a Warp Pipe which leads to the underground. At the beginning there is an Ice Flower which can turn Mario in to Ice Mario. Following that there are many tilting platforms made of crystal that lead up to a POW Block. There are then a couple of pipes with a Koopa Troopa below them and Piranha Plants in them and between them there are dozens of coins in brick blocks. After that a girder can bring Mario up to another warp pipe so that he can get a Star Coin and move on to the next area. After a brick block mountain there is the Midway Flag. The player must jump down into the space below the ground with a Goomba in it, grab a star, and defeat all the Koopa Troopas and Piranha Plants in the path ahead. After all the enemies are defeated there is another girder with a Red Ring that brings out eight Red Coins for Mario to get. Finally, there is a last Warp Pipe and another girder leading to the Flagpole.
Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: Between the second and third moving crystals, the Star Coin can be seen near a hole in the ceiling. The player can use the lower crystal to collect it.
- Star Coin 2: The player must firstly reach the first tilt-controlled girder and use it to get near a Warp Pipe. Entering it leads Mario to a room with a Goomba trapped in a brick block cage and some coins. There's a Brick Block with a P-Switch in it. It must be pressed and the player must quickly guide Mario to the roof, using the Brick Block platforms or use the Propeller Mushroom to reach the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3: After the Midway Flag, there are some Warp Pipes and a wall made of Brick Blocks. the player must ground pound the Brick Blocks to get in a Warp Pipe under them. Mario is led to a room with a POW Block. Using it will cause the Star Coin to fall from the other area to this room.
